Apple CEO Comes Out Of The Closet

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, came out of the closet last week. 

 

Obviously everyone at Apple knew about it when he was elevated to CEO so not a big deal on the Silicon Valley.

Pretty much EVERYONE knew about it, there was an incident over year ago when someone on CNBC mentioned it (not in a bad way), and  afterwards basically said "didn't everyone already know?"

Saw some comments on a far-right website last week about this; those "Patriots" are really pissed off that a faggot has made the phone they carry around in their pockets. Awww, poor little fascists.

Remember, these are the people who call themselves "Christians" and every single one of these freaks vote Republican! Enough of a reason to steer as far away from that party as possible every election day, especially if you have a preference for Ladyboys.

I don't understand why this is news at all. Should all straight and bisexual transgender and tgirl lovers all follow suit and publicly declare their sexuality.

Really I don't see why he felt he had to "come out". Its his own business and AFAIK he never made it a secret but chose not to publicise it. I respect people who keep their personal life separate to their professional life.

I think pretty much everybody knew anyway, it was no secret to his co-workers and wasn't much of a secret to the general public; I had heard those rumors for the past 2 years or so. Kinda hard to be in your mid- 50's and have never been married or had a girlfriend.

As usual, who the hell other people sleep with should be no concern of anyone, ever. But oftentimes the gay community puts subtle pressure on famous people to come out and let everyone know in order to help their cause. Ellen Degeneres and last year Ellen Page were typical examples, Cook may have felt a little bit of that same pressure.
