Abhisit Indicted On Murder Charges

In America the old saying goes, "You can indict a ham sandwich".  Well, it seems the tables have been turned on the yellow folks fav puppet aka "Mark" Abhisit.  I guess some judge got  nice wire transfer to one of his accounts either in Thailand or overseas.  Abhisit made bail, which was only about $50,000.

I know Thai justice/law might be oxymoronic but isnt a delicious irony if they could EVER make these charges stick??  Maybe Abhisit and his henchman Suthep can run away to Dubai or Cambodia together.

These two schmucks might try and find that Amnesty Bill that Yingluck has hiding in her desk..........

Archie, there's more to this than what you think. The murder charges were pushed by Thaksin in order to pressure the Democrat party to support the Amnesty bill that the Pheu Thai government attempted to push through.

Also you should credit the fact that Abbhisit and Suthep did not skip the country as Thaksin did on much less serious charges. If Thaksin had stayed for serving his sentence the current situation would have been avoided. He likely would have been out before his 2 year sentence was up.

These murder charges are also trumped up - no leader in the past has ever been convicted of murder while ordering the army to restore order during a riot situation where invading hospitals, burning buildings and exploding grenades was going on. Also quite interesting don't you think that the police were much more effective in attempting to control the demonstrators this time around than they were when the red shirts were?

Anyway, politics in LOS is much more complicated than the US, and the bad guys are not always who you think they are.

The yellows can't win an election so they want to end one person one vote. The red's populast policies are just throwing money at the farmers to keep their voting block. The rice price support policy, among others, has left a big hole in the government balance sheet and a huge quanity of unsold rice. This is almost as screwed up as Washington...

Do you think if there is ANY chance of him getting convicted and doing some time in the monkey house, that he wouldnt abscond??  Come on now all know what this is.  Its an attempt at some leverage so Mark and his buddies will back down/play ball.

Suthep is quite clear on not wanting ANY part of an election.  Lets be real now. The police can "control" the demonstrators as they are playing footsie together under the table!!!!!
