Mod1
One day only, January 16th, Tony's Gym is offering Lifetime Memberships for 15K baht. Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Sure he is. He's planning on closing the business the day after. Quote Link to comment
xyzzy
I know several pissed off people with life memberships as Tony has closed some past facilities. Tony's campground in Pattaya wasn't a winner either. Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
If your 30 a lifetime membership perhaps represents a sound investment. At my age 15K baht is better spent on the primary reason I am in Pattaya in the first place. Quote Link to comment
Kahuna
I also knew a guy once who kinda sorta got ripped off by Tony...Can't recall his name though... My question to Tony would be, just whose life are we talking about here??? Mine or his??? And secondly, if I bought a lifetime membership and then expired but was reincarnated, is my membership still valid for my new body??? Quote Link to comment
Jimslim
Tony ain't exactly a great advert for his gym's . In the words of Michael Caine in Get Carter - "You're a big man but you're out of shape " Quote Link to comment
360
Just went by the California WOW at the Avenue and it's closed. The guy at the stall next to it said they're permenantly closed. Goes to show the 'life expectancy' of gyms in Pattaya. Quote Link to comment
xyzzy
IMO: I scarfed this info from another board. The Avenue where CWOW is located had some interesting lease arrangements. It had a big makeover that is still in progress or in some case just starting. The entrance to Villa will be in the back at some point. But they are having trouble with some that hold old leases as they were poorly written. CWOW was reportedly shut down because they owe a lot of baht for services. Supposidly another gym is trying to take over the space and come out with possession of all the equipment. I guess gyms shouldn't be any different in Pattaya than bars... Quote Link to comment
