Cinederose Posted October 1 Share Posted October 1 When i arrived a few years ago there were many hostels on Sukhumvit , you could just walk in now its a different situation several have shut and some that are there have gone to seed , hostels have pushed themselves to On Nut Bts and beyond its a long walk after night filming ( ok night bus ) , some sketchy ones up there also as i learned recently and even they seemed booked out on a monday on low season , but the step out and you are there type places are vanishing , okay many of you are hotel guys not long term vloggers clinging to budget hostels , blocks hostel is now over 400 baht which is nonsense for a asian dorm and shit goes down there sometimes (private joke i would love to share dirt on these places but you know thailand and the internet ) although ladyboys do stay there , red door hostel on 11 like 700 baht but sometimes 450 , again you are sharing so it does not matter if its a four bed fancy dorm or a 50 bed dorm on onnut (200 baht) the two on alley 4 are dumps , grande station opened on soi1 again over 400 , and i can find a private room in khao san or ngamm duphl for cheaper then that and thats it khaosan is 11 miles from sukhumvit but no choice and Silom has hostels but is dead compared to nanaplaza , when khaosan has the metro finished o boy then it will be connected to Bangkok finally and not Some 1 hour bus or tuktuk scam ride from downtown - i guess about 15 hostels gone from between Soi 1 and 23 ( dont get me started on slumber party and bodega holy shit ) O yeah damage deposits are now Normal in bkk and patts before it was the snooty types asking 1000 baht for a room , 500 for a dorm which makes no sense since you are sharing with strangers and how can they bill you and if you have no booking many will not take you even if they are empty as it requires work not print and passport and whoosh express check in , ok not all but i have been rejected for that as for bkk lower sukhumvit is not possible for me anymore , its too much Or a super dirty hostel and dorm full of cheap indians ( sorry indians ) no 3 am loud phone falls for me or crazy shit ( private joke again ) and that means ladyboys are pushed up to the 70s 80s 90s sois and i met the african freelancers up there also in cheap dorms , and western trans workers and girls visiting bkk have been writing me about about freelancing i tell them not to do it and guys want to book ladyboys with me , again i do not do it i just hand out info with the lbs permission ( see my twitter or instagram gallery for options ) but i received 250,000 views this Week alone on twitter ( all videos and photos in analytics ) so trending anyway i probably burned too many bridges but i know the faces and the lb who go from cheap dorm to cheap dorm , anyway returned to Bangkok but that i saw a lovely hotel in patts for 2700 baht a week ( all included normal nice hotel ) one minute from old 7 and former fantasy i should have stayed but i have made about 7 large videos about pattaya so , coming on patreon and decided to slum it again in hostels in bkk as i would Never stay in a hostel in pattaya , last one i was in i was the Only one in my dorm who did not shower in their clothes or move furniture around at 3 am , lots of down and outs in those hostels perhaps thats why there charge 500 baht deposit - Cine , 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Same here. Perhaps guys who stay in hostels want to meet new like minded people as easily as possible? Maybe they like coed dorms? Hostels have become pricey in pattaya and rooms have risen so not sure i have checked online and by foot - i did stay 1,200 a week ac room once in south patts but that was a fluke and those osties were fighting every night but i actually liked it , but nothing like last time just a jomptien hostel for example ( 200 ) is the cheapest daily but yes monthly stay 5000 baht and pay your own electricity and water , but thats a whole month , three weeks is my max and btw i Was in Nana plaza last night and i never saw it so packed , lots of western gf with there men like it was a shopping spree , security even tougher but let me through easy , met the hottest lb ever vip on sukhumvit took info filmed the lot , why am i the only one filing these vip sukhvit lb and i met emmy she of blonde perky tits with red reindeer ears ( its her gimmick ) post op now 3000 , but the hotter ones were 1500 actually not post op anyway on location but i dont see a good deal in bkk as old mamasans keep saying its high season now No deal daily only 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
