rxpharm
Will a Thai cell phone (AIS) work in Cambodia, at the border? D. It would depend if they have a transmitter close enough to the Cambodia side. If there is a Thai city/town/village just on the other side of the border, odds are that it might work. If the Thai city/town/village is a good distance away from the border, then probably not. The other option is to enable roaming, but the charges for that are quite a bit higher.

Chrisdlux
new Hell Sim card in Cambodia is about $10 USD....just replace existing with the new one IF you go over the country line or can not get reception with Thai phone. I use cheap Nokia phone and interchange SIMs between countries...total damage: $20 for Phone, $10 for Sim cards plus time. Cheap.
