  1. She is actually a Liverpool fan BBG, that's how we became so friendly. One of the nicest girls you'll ever meet as well as being hot. Late 30's/early 40's in age, perfect in every way. Boyfriend is about 6 foot 6" and built like a lighthouse I went out and about all day today to various places without a mask and I am still alive. Do you think it is a miracle???
  2. The wearing of masks became a mandatory requirement in N.Ireland on Monday in shops etc. I was in my local Tesco for the first time today since it became mandatory, and found only about 75% of the customers wearing masks, and almost none of the staff. Asked the girl at the tobacco till (who I know quite well, and by fook she is hot) what their policy was. She said that the area manager had basically told the local authorities that they would not subject their staff to policing the customers, based on feedback of violent outbursts from Tesco outlets in England and Scotland. They recommend customers wear masks, but will not enforce it, and most certainly will not turn away business because someone is not wearing one. Point they made was "If the authorities want to initiate a public order act, then they can provide the door staff to enforce it, not us"
  3. You know you will always be welcome there Tel. I might even buy you a beer if I am feeling in a generous mood.
  4. Many bars in general failed long before the pandemic, but somehow seemed to limp along along regardless, no doubt haemorrhaging money along the way. But to be fair, bars now in every country in the world, even Ireland, were failing long before the pandemic, as attitudes changed and there was too much competition for an ever diminishing customer base.
  5. Hi Guys Welcome to Red Poppy Bar, which could also be known as the New La Bamba. It will be slightly different from La Bamba in that some of the staff will be different, and there will be a few GG's in the mix, but enough of the old La Bamba crew to give it that nostalgic feeling. I know you will be met with the same frienfly but hassle free atmosphere you experienced in La Bamba, and with Nok at the helm, and Sindy day to day manager, you are guaranteed to be well looked after. The new bar, in case you didn't know, is directly opposite La Bamba. It has been established for a few years in the Soi, but was recently taken over by Nok. The seats are comfortable, there is a pool table and live sports on a large screen inside the bar. There is also the added bonus of a dedicated outside seating area, for those of you who like to sit outside with a cool beer, a nice breeze, and eye the ladies, or people watch on the street. I will give updates as and when I get them reagrding opening hours, music etc., but most important I hope to get more info and pictures of the staff posted once I receive them. In the meantime, if you are fortunate enough to be in Pattaya, or when the rest of us get back there hopefully in the not too distant future, pop in, have a beer and say hi to your favourite girls in their new home. FYI, I am just promoting the bar and providing updates as best as possible, I have no direct input or influence in the day to day activities.
  6. Sindy has just confirmed to me that La Bamba is no more. Nok has finally abandoned it and is now running the Red Poppy Bar across the street as a sole project. Rent and bils in La Bamba were much too high, so she probably wisely decided to get out at the first opportunity. The girls living above the bar have been given until the end of the week to vacate their rooms and clear out. I was sent some pics by Sindy of her gathering all her clothes and belonging and putting them into bags ready to move (must say her room at the top of the building was actually very impressive when seen without all the clutter). A lot of the girls will now be in total limbo - no room to move to, and no money to afford a down payment on first month rent. There apparently are no rooms going above Poppy Bar. Sad times for the staff who called La B their home for several years, and I can see many of them going ome now as they won't be able to afford rent, as they lived in La B rent free. Red Poppy Bar will be the place of work for the remaining staff who don't go home, so it will be mainly a LB bar. I know a lot of guys stopped going to La Bamba some time ago because it was uncomfortable, and I can't blame them for that. The Red Poppy bar is much more comfortable, good outside seating area for those of us who like that, Pool Table and sports on TV inside, so it could be abetter deal for customers in the long run, when tourists are allowed back in the country!!
  7. I certainly hope you are wrong buddy, but I wouldn't rule it out. I think we are at a phase now where people who are thinking along the lines of Governmental totalitarian authority over the population, aren't hoping to be proved right, but actually hoping they are wrong, for all our sakes!!
  8. It is something to do with everybody's star sign now being totally wrong, and we have been assigned new signs depending when your birthday falls.
  9. My opinion on the masks, and this is an opinion not a scientific fact, is that the push by governments for us to wear is them is economic based as much as science/medical. They perhaps believe that we will have an enormous sense of safety and protection from the virus while wearing a mask, and therefore be more likely to go out and about to spend some money again, boosting the flailing economy. Just a thought.
  10. My favourite at the minute is Aubrey Kate . She seems to release a new scene every other day, her ass must be like a clowns pocket, ffs. Before that it would have been Joanna Jet. She is much older now and certainly showing her years, but still a right dirty bitch. I think she may have been the first shemale porn scene I ever watched, and I had several 5 knuckle shuffles to her vids ever since.
  11. Yep, it was well before my time so I was never fortunate enough to witness it personally, but basically what happened was that the boss would treat all he printers to a free "jolly up" to mark the end of summer, and the start of 6 months printing practically in the dark. The tradition faded away many years ago. When I was on the branch committee in the printing union (the NGA it was back in those days) we tried to keep the tradition in a way, and held charity events through the year so we could have a free Christmas dinner and drinks for retired members. This also faded out as the various unions merged through time, but it was quite a popular back then, The old fellas would have turned up by the dozen to enjoy a free afternoon of drink, and of course more important, a chance to catch up with their old colleagues and have a good old chin wag about the old days. Some of them used to somewhat overdo the drink, I remember several times daughters coming to pick up the elderly old dad, and finding him in the corner lying upside down behind the piano, totally sozzled!! Great days.
  12. Excellent find Seven, this guy was absolutely spot on with everything he said. If anyone of those loathsome "luvvies" thought that making any sort of statement would harm their career and bank balance, not a fucking word would be uttered.
  13. As I am in the print industry, I will miss out on answering this question due to unfair advantage. There's a clue guys!!!
  14. Not too far of the mark Barforth - the girls are splitting their time between the bars. Nok has taken over interim ownership of Red Poppy Bar (and Beach Bar next door) and due to lack of staff some of the La Bamba girls work out of here now. La Bamba remains as is for the time being, but no telling what the future will hold.
  15. La Bamba is also now open, but additional to this, the two bars opposite to La Bamba, Red Poppy Bar and Beach Bar, aree also open. They are now owned/run by Nok and some of the La B girls split their time between the bars, particularly in the afternoon.
  16. OK, out of guesses so Googled it, I wasn't too far off. Knew it had something to do with beer.
  17. Ok I will guess something to do with the amount of beers you are allowed to drink, or the percentage of alcohol in each beer?
