In Australia we refer to something that is broken, doesn't work, fucked etc as being "rooted". So before my last trip while i was looking to purchase a tablet i came across an ad for one that seemed real cheap however the ad mentioned that it had been rooted. Total gadget novice me, messaged the dude selling it and asked what did he have to do to fix it after he rooted it and was it likely fuck up again down the track............i reckon that dude is still laughing at my expense! Anyhow, after he explained it to me in plain english it turned out that by rooting it, you can plug in a flash drive or external hardrive and the device will read the contents of that external drive which makes it perfect for a movie library etc for those boring plane flights and for storing my Go Pro footage while on holidays. Needless to say i bought it, still have it and is the best rooted thingy i have ever purchased I say go for it mate, rooting's been good to me

Interesting......i checked out the DS website to have a look at Gate (looks cute by the way) and saw a profile of Yumi. Must be an old profile as the same Yumi is in Brisbane Aust. plying her trade and by all accounts on local forums, is one of the most popular LB's for hire.

i just gave him a sly smirk and walked on without thinking too much more about it. I guess after a while you just become immune to the shit the locals deal out. Don't get me wrong, there's lots of genuine people in the country, but i just work on the assumption that if i am within 100km's of a tourist area, particlarly areas where bars are the main attraction, then most, if not all locals i come in contact with have one goal in mind, and that is, to relieve me of as much baht as they can before i get on the big bird and fly away. Some do it with grace, style and a cheeky mischevious attitude, the others are just low cunts and not worth the steam off one of my farts to warm their rice.

Thanks Gutsy, a picture's worth a thousand words, that looks like a great place to hang out for a while. i like the lounge idea too, much more comfy than bar stools. i've been known to have the odd cigarette or 20 when i drink so an outdoor area is great for me and means others who don't smoke don't have their night fucked up by my disgusting habit. Spent a lot of time in the Fils over the years so am quite partial to Filipinos, Darkside is definately on my to do list..........I can see i'm gonna be burnt out by the end of my visit, but fuck it, there's no pause button on life!

A few years ago, Phuket airport, going through immigration and officer had some little elephant sculptures on his counter. He took my passport, pointed at the elephants and said "300 baht, you buy" i said "no thanks, if i wanted one i would have bought the same thing in Chiang Mai for 150". He slammed the stamp in my passport, threw it at me and mumbled something to me in which i deciphered the words "farang and cheap charlie". He's was trying rip me off for something i didn't want and yet i was apparently the low life for not conforming.......Thai logic!

All good SS, i'm enjoying the vibe, I'll be sticking around at least long enough to do a report on my first LB encounter. I couldn't possibly get all this great info off you guys and then not at least give you all a good laugh by relaying my encounter. Have to say, you dudes sure are a friendly bunch, quite refreshing! So many forums are filled with keyboard warriors who you would love to meet in a dark soi and give their neck a quick twist. Perhaps it's because it seems to be a smaller volume forum so there's a bit more comradery, whatever it is, i like it I think your Darkside suggestion Stooley is definately a good one. I've had a bit of a read about it and it seems right up my alley (pardon the pun) so will make sure i get there at least once on the next trip and survey the scene. And thanks for the further feedback on Mint Gutsy, seems if she is around, she would be a great source of knowledge so will definately by her a drink and chew the fat with her if she's around. On another note, i've only ever walked past C9 when it was Guess and seem to recall there was an outdoor deck area with stools and bar rail, is that still the case or have they renovated?

Yep, hearing you loud and clear rxpharm. I know the "type" of LB i would be happy with and all i'm trying to do is get a bit of feedback from some of the more seasoned punters of which girls in a certain location suit my style. Obviously after that, it's all up to me, the LB and chemistry, but at least i might be able to hone in on a few likely candidates and weed out those that are not what i'm looking for. I will certainly have a look around town and won't rule out certain venues based on a few negative reports as you are absolutely correct, there are probably hidden gems all over the place that have never been spoken of on a forum. It's just that my sort of scene is the lounge bar vibe and not gogo's, fucken hate the places with a passion, so i'm sure i will spend more of my time at a place like C9, CIB or Paradise rather than gogo's so that's why i'm curious about the girls at these places...........however, never say never, wouldn't be the first time that i have a loose plan and did completely the opposite lol.

So I have been a member here for a couple of weeks and have pretty much read all the threads so as i don't get the standard "use the search function" reply, but I have a query that I'm wondering if any of you lads can help with? i've been a regular visitor to LOS since the mid 80's when i was just an excitable teen and since my first visit I have had a desire to one day have a play with the third gender. As the years roll on, the bucket list takes on a more serious consideration so i intend to break my duck on my next upcoming visit. Had originally intended to base myself around soi 7 and do the CIB thing but have now pretty much decided I will stay at Magestic Grande (i can't fault the place, really good hotel) and spend some time at Chaos9 and Paradise Bar. SiamSam & duke007 provided some sage advice to another post i made and i will certainly head that advice and check out a few other places but the vibe of Chaos and Paradise seem to be right up my alley. So, to the question. For me to cut through a lot of searching and trail and error, just wondering if anyone can reccomend any of the girls at the above mentioned bars that would suit my preferences? My preference's would be something like; Very feminine (not femboi and definately not masculine) Pre Op with small to average package (no point taking the plunge if there is no fruit to play with but I am keen to have a taste of the fruit and I would prefer a snack, not a main meal lol) Happy to be bottom only (my butt hole has a one way valve, nothing going in there except maybe a tongue) Preferably a shaved schlong (or at least well trimmed) And a sweet affectionate personality (don't care how hot they are, I can't cop fucked attitudes) From the photos on this site of those 2 bars, I have to say that Sara and Ja are real standouts for me. WOW, I just recently joined this site for a bit of research for a trip to LOS later in the year (total novice to the LB secene) and you throw up pics like the ones above.....how long has this been going on? lol. For those who have met her, does Jah look as good in person as she does in the photos?
