  1. How to Resize Pictures (for Macs) If you have ever sent or received photos via email or attached them somewhere on the web, you know that image size can be a problem. Some websites only allow small images so they load faster and consume less memory, and getting an email with a huge image can be very annoying. Resizing an image on a Mac is very easy to do once you know how to do it, and requires no extra software other than what comes with the computer. 1. Open Finder by clicking on the Mac icon in the dock. 2. Navigate to the folder which contains the image you want to resize. 3. Command-Click the image, and hover your cursor over "Open With". 4. From the drop down menu, select "Preview". The image will open in a new window. 5. With the Preview window selected, click on "Tools" in the top bar to drop down that menu and select "Adjust Size". A window will slide down over the image. 6. Highlight the "Width" field, and enter the desired width of the image. Unless you have unselected the "Scale proportionally" box, the height should change accordingly. At the bottom of the adjustment window, it will display the resulting size in KBs of GBs. 7. Click "OK". The image should change size in the Preview window. 8. Drop down the "File" menu, found in the top bar, and select either "Save" or "Save As". "Save" will replace the original image with the resized version, whereas "Save As" will allow you to save it as a new image under a new name. 9. Quit out of preview by dropping down the "File" menu, and select "Quit Preview". You're done!
  2. #16 -JENNY - Guess Bar Bangkok Jenny had recently returned to the flock at Guess, and many long-time patrons were happy to see her return. But now I understand she's left again...
  3. #17 - WAN from Hi Boss, Soi 6 Photo is from 2009 and I have no idea if she's still there
  4. #18 -AE - Cocktails and Dreams, Phuket Iunderstand she's returned to the bar now after a sabbatical. Good to see herback!
  5. You're talking to the new owner here! I clicked on the "is this your domain/renew" button, tried a few likely combinations of login/password combos, and for $50 was able to renew the domain name and change it to my address. Mwah ha ha ha! I got them by the balls now! What do you think they'll pay to repurchase the domain rights?
  6. #19 -Palm - EZY Bar. Not sure where she's at nowadays.
  7. Sorry Lung, but she left Patts shortly after I did that first trip in 2009. I heard she was in Bangkok some time later, and seen pics of her pop up from time to time on boards but really couldn't say where she's at nowadays. Only thing I can say with near certainty is SHE'S NOT IN OBSESSIONS PATTAYA. Sorry!
  8. OK, after having started a "Top 20" pictorial thread on another forum I've decided it's time to not only finish it out, but also to revise it so there's more and better pictures of the girls. Bear in mind, this countdown isn't really in any organized order, it's sorta random. But I did try to save a couple of the best ones for later.... When we get to the end, I'd love to see which ones you prefer. I'm not going exclusively with LB's here, there will be some GG's sprinkled in as well. That ought to make it just a bit more interesting. NUMERO 20: We'll start with a bang.... DA, my favorite little post-op (found in Obsessions/Kitten Club in 2009)
  9. I am loving this thread. And I'm particularly loving the fact that it's exclusive to Ladyboy Review. This is a classic in the making.
  10. Type faster dammit! I've heard about this story a couple of times, but never any details. I'm hooked. Almost want to stop reading the thread until the story's complete so I can read it all in one sitting, it's that fascinating. Keep 'er comin' JaiDee!
  11. You guys sicken me. Can we get back to talking about the skanky shithole with hot young girls up in Naklua? Damn, no fair having such debauched fun while I'm not present. SSam, I expect a full report from you with so much salacious detail that I (should I chose to do so) will be able to live through it vicariously. And to answer your next question before you ask it, I'll be living vicariously through your explicit report of the debauchery with my right hand.
  12. That's for sure. Billy was one of the first guys I read reports from when I was considering my first trip to LOS. He is a living legend! Thanks for the update. Wish I'd seen Lek when I was on my last trip, I loved La Bamba and Nok was one of my few multiple barfines. I almost took Sindy a second night as well.
  13. Lefty, I think you're being "wound up" as they say... I'd bet you $50 that Farangbha is totally "taking the piss" as they say, but he would never admit it - that's the point. My point was actually directed at FB, not at you Lefty. Yes, she does suck (and not in a good way) - that's how I know FB is taking the piss. Well played mate! Ok, back to music that moves me. How about something by Paula Cole? I tried to find "Our Revenge" but nothing. Second choice: PAULA COLE - Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? Lefty, you'll like this one.
  14. Even more laughable is the idea of trying to make any sort of "pronouncement" about anything as subjective as the relative merits of different artists. I should know, I try all the time! Writing about music is like dancing about architecture.
  15. Lung, I'd SHIT MYSELF if given the chance to meet Kate. In fact I'd fly to the UK and give up my annual LOS holiday just to be able to hang in her presence for 10 minutes. I know how much she values her privacy (and maintaining "normalcy" in her life) so I'm not surprised that a plumbers assistant leering at her would freak her the fuck out! Great story. Hate to say it, but I do actually like Madonna. Although I did like "Ray of Light" I also loved most of the Pat Leonard produced stuff (ie: Live To Tell). He went on to produce Roger Waters best solo LP (Amused To Death) and was part of a great duo called "Toy Matinee" with Kevin Gilbert. Kevin was a close friend of the guys in Spock's Beard, as well as Sheryl Crow's boyfriend and her writing partner in the Friday Night Music Club. In fact, he claimed that she stole most of her first album from him and his buddies. He was a huge fan of Genesis, and in fact had been on the short list to replace Phil Collins when he (sadly) was found dead, of apparent auto-erotic asphyxiation.
  16. I remember reading that story now! Good one!
  17. Ok - how about a little Broadway? One of my favorites of recent years is "Wicked". Here's the original broadway cast, with Idina Menzel as Elfaba (The Wicked Witch of the West): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsO6IYsQSVg IDINA MENZEL: I Stand - from her first album after leaving Wicked Ok, some heavy metal to followup your Broadway? Fair enough! LACUNA COIL - Heaven's A Lie. This is the italian metal band that inspired Evanescence LACUNA COIL - Within Me GOLDFRAPP - Some People http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t969ZjKmW9U WISHING TREE - Hollow Hills - this is a side-project of Steve Rothery, guitarist with Marillion AIMEE MANN - Save Me (from the brilliant movie "Magnolias")
  18. Ok, now you're on my wavelength! I LOVE female vocalists. Was just puzzling over this the other day, wondering exactly what it is. Part of it is the fact that along with a great song, they can also use their sensuality/sexuality which isn't a trick that a male vocalist can pull and get a positive reaction out of (at least not from me). So, let's do a quick rundown of a few of my favorites. FIRST: a tech trick - if you add this: &fmt=18 onto the URL of most YouTube clips, you'll get to hear it in stereo. First up - the already much-lauded KATE BUSH. I still think "The Dreaming" is my favorite Kate album. I have a huge 40x60 UK Subway poster from the album promotion that I mean to get framed some day. It's cover (Houdini's wife - portrayed by Kate - passing him the handcuff key in a "farewell" kiss) is a classic image. It was the first Kate album I ever heard, and I fell in love with it as I was a huge Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel fan. She said that she meant to make the music as deep and complex as the Floyd and Gabriel stuff which she loved, but it ended up being so dark and difficult that she said she'd never do anything as complex again. HOUDINI (The Dreaming) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8CEy80FL9c ALL THE LOVE (The Dreaming) Next up - Tori Amos! I first discovered Tori when her first LP was released, and she captivated me because I thought she sounded just like Kate. I quickly realized she's a very different talent. WINTER (Little Earthquakes) - sort bummed I cannot find the studio version, which has a fantastic arrangement with full band. Oh well. I CAN'T SEE NEW YORK (Scarlett's Walk) - this was her reaction to the horrific events of 9/11. To this day I still can't listen to it (and listen to the lyric) without shedding a tear. Please know that this "video" was not created nor authorized by Tori. She would never have produced anything this obvious, as the lyric is very obtuse and only hints at it's subject (which makes it all the more haunting). This video was created by a fan and removes any doubt as to the subject matter.
  19. The only problems I had with anyone on the last trip was with a fucking Brit. Cut in front of me in line at 7-11 at around 4am and when I got pissed he looked ready to throw down. Him being about 30 and with a big mate, and me being exactly 50 and by myself, I somehow found the diplomacy needed to shut the fuck up and let him get away with being a dick. Still pisses me off though.
  20. How do you make your wife scream twice? Fuck her in the ass, then wipe your dick on the curtains.
  21. Great thread. It's fantastic to see you on here Jai Dee, and yet another reason to celebrate this board. One of my disappointments this last trip was hearing that you were in town but that I'd missed you - would have loved hanging out with you for a bit. Here's a few more French jokes: Q. Why did the French plant trees along the Champs Elysees? A. So the Germans could march in the shade. A French and American general were surveying a battlefield. A bullet strikes the American general, grazing his arm. He shouts "Aide! Bring me my red jacket!" The French general asks "Why did you do that?" The American general responds "So my men don't see that I'm bleeding, and lose hope." A second bullet narrowly misses the French general's ear, and he shouts: "Aide! Bring me my brown trousers!" A Frenchman, an American, and a Brit were all busy getting drunk in Saudi Arabia when the cops burst in. They were soon sentenced to death, but through good lawyers, the three men were able to reduce their sentence to life. As luck would have it, it was a Saudi holiday, so the judge said, "Because it's a holiday you will each recieve 20 lashes and be let go. It is customary to grant one wish before punishment. The Brit thinks and says, "Strap a pillow on my back." They do, but it only holds for 10 lashes. The Frenchman sees this, and requests two pillows on his back. These only hold for 15 lashes. The judge turns to the American and says "Because you are from such a respectable country, you get 2 wishes." The American replies, "I wish to be flogged 100 times, not 20." The judge thinks this is very honerable and asks "And your second?" The American answers "Strap the Frenchman to my back." Q. How do you say "Give me liberty or give me death!" in French? A. I give up. Q. Did you hear about France's new weapons contracts? A. They gave one to Ace Hardware to produce 250,000 wood sticks...they are still looking for a company to produce 250,000 little white flags.
  22. Got a sure-fire pickup line for you to use next time you're in a gay bar: "May I push your stool in for you?"
