  1. For many travelers today, a good (free) in-room wi-fi connection is considered a basic requirement. Which hotels have good fast reliable wi-if, and which fall short? Sadly, my first entry in the category of "THIS WIFI SUCKS" is my current residence and long-time favorite: PAGE 10 HOTEL - sucks. Last year it was in decline, and I had to sit in the lobby to find a decent signal and get any work done. This year it's even worse. Virtually unusable in the room it's so slow and unreliable. Lobby is still marginally better, but I shan't be staying here again. Hopefully someone nominates some hotels in the "THIS WIFI GREAT" category for me to choose from next time.
  2. I'm wondering if the midnight curfew being imposed on BKK nightlife venues will be exported here soon too? Would make my life easier anyway as I like to be back at loom by midnight anyway, and always seem to of left the room an hour or two too early for the action to have really started. I'd assume things would begin a bit earlier with girls showing up earlier if so? (Perhaps that's too Western/logical though.)
  3. I'll also mention again that a great strategy for US citizens before a trip is get your doctor to write a 30 day prescription for Daily Use Cialis. Then go to the Cialis website and download the coupon for a 30 day free trial. Take the 2 to a pharmacy, bada-bing bada-boom, you've got 30 tablets for free. You can get a coupon once per year. 30 tablets actually lasts me the entire year. I like the Daily Use better as fewer side effects; only lasts 36-48 hours but great value.
  4. Next door to Avenue Mall on same side of 2nd Road. Imagine you are standing on 2nd Road facing McDonalds in Avenue Mall. Turn LEFT and walk up sidewalk to the first Pharmacy on your right side. I think it's next door to Tim's Beer Bar.
  5. Dang, wish we'd got to chat. Hope u had a great trip!
  6. A good lineup for sure. I stumled in last night (after already having been drained over at Le Carre Blanc) but Mickie (the milkmaid in red in 2nd pic above) showed me I had more sperm left in the system. I used the short time rooms for first time since the EZ Bar days, and was actually impressed. And Mickie was quite fun. I think I took her on one of her first first bar fines in her first week at Famous (3years ago?) and she was worthless. This was a completely different experience, NA d worth possibly repeating later in the trip. Sweet girl, banging body, still only a little English though. FYI she's a total bottom. And a good one at that. P.s. - petesie, was that u and SLBT (and a 3rd guy) who wandered in while I was sitting at the bar with Mickie? P.P.S.... I think Karl is "gone home". Anyone confirm?
  7. I thought we were in that "everyone has a 12 inch cock" reality. Don't tell me I'm the only one....
  8. I thought I saw her at One of the bars last night. Very jet lagged but maybe Fantay Lounge?
  9. Thanks guys. Hefe - yes, the Biz Class lounges (The Pier and The Wing) are both amazing in HGK International. And yes, they do have an exclusive First Class portion that I've never been in, so it should really be an experience! Jay - I misspoke - HGK to BKK and vice-versa is business class as they only have Biz and Economy.
  10. P.S. to Mr. xzzyzzcc - the number within Thailand to call Alaska Air for award changes is: 001-800-252-75200 (yes, 5 digits at the end - I had them repeat it 3 times to make sure i had it right).
  11. I was able to finally get my flights changed (3 days prior to departure) so I'm in First Class from Seattle all the way to BKK, and no weird overnight layovers. Originally I was going SEA to LAX Wed. evening, then had a layover until 10AM Thursday morning for Cathay flight to HKG; another few hours layover and then on to BKK to arrive at midnight the 3rd day (Friday evening/Saturday morning) after leaving Seattle. Now I'm on a Wed. 5:30pm flight to LAX, 10:30pm flight to HKG which arrives 2 days later (Friday) in early AMand then on to BKK to arrive 10:30AM Friday morning. The route back was equally screwy - late afternoon flight from BKK, late evening flight out of HGK, arrive SFO 10:30pm, spend the night then fly home SFO to Seattle the next day. Now I'm booked on 10Am flight from HGK to SFO, and 1pm flight the same calendar day to Seattle arriving 4:30pm. Only problem is they didn't have an AM flight to get me to HGK, so I'm going in a day early (arriving at noon) so I can spend the day and an evening in HKG, which I've always wanted to do. Oh, and I had to downgrade to Business to find space on the Cathay flight. I'm confident if I try again closer to the return date I can get it all tightened up to avoid the HGK overnight if I chose to, and probably back into First Class as well. Lastly, there are earlier flights SFO to SEA but right now they only have coach, I'm pretty confident I can get that changed to First and arrive home closer to 1pm rather than 4:30. Overall, I'm pleased. But I think I will try to change the Cathay flight back to First Class, and try to get an earlier first class Alaska flight out of SFO to get home. One thing I noticed is that I had to talk to 2 or 3 different customer service people to find one that could actually see the flights I ended up on. One would tell me "nothing available", then calling back an hour later the next would find availability. I think part of it was the way they searched the Alaska/Cathay system. If they took the lazy route that most of them apparently did, they would just look for "BKK TO SEA" and not look for the hard leg first (HGK to SFO or LAX or YVR) and then put the rest of the pieces together. The only success I finally had was always when the agent would check only for the hard leg first.
  12. I think they edited part of the report out. I've filled it in from my imagination:
  13. Doesn't matter what they're wearing, It's apparent to anyone watching that they are going back to my hotel with me to get fucked by a geezer that's old enough to be their grandfather. No point in being embarrassed, I'll never see any of these folks that are judging us back here in the real world anyway.
  14. Grrrrr.... no! I would love to meet you in the flesh (don't get any weird ideas now) but I've gotta fly out sometime the week of March 17. I'm jockeying with the airline to change the flight, but it will be either the 17, 18 or 19. Currently scheduled for 17. Looks like I'll be warming 'em up for you.
  15. It's gotta be May, and the event is obviously the regular Morlam that takes place on outskirts of Patts. I'd recognize those chairs anywhere. (And that dress for that matter).
  16. WOW... definitely deserves more research. Carry on and let me know the results, I'm quite interested.
  17. FUckinG amaZING! Mickey actually looks GOOD with the huge new boobs. I might have to giver her a spin. And there are at least 4 other newbies in those pics that I would entertain entertaining if you know what I mean. Since I'll be there in less than a week, the timing is more than fortuitous.
  18. Kasikorn was the best bank for me to set up at, I set up my account three or four years ago and all I needed was my passport, a cell phone number that I could give them and that I had access to, and a local address, I use the address of my hotel.
  19. Yes. The hardest leg to change is Cathay from NAmerica (SFO, LAX or YVR) to Hong Kong. Once I find space on the flight I need it will be relatively simple to change the other 2 legs, or so I hope.
  20. I've recently begun trying to find ways to maximize the number of free miles (and earn free or low-cost airfares) by following some of the strategies suggested by the "experts" on the subject. Just google "frequent flier strategies" and you'll find tons of them. This began as an outgrowth of my annual business class roundtrip on Cathay Pacific that I earn from my home in the USA all the way to BKK. It's a $6-10k seat roundtrip and I get it for free (or very close) just by using my Alaska Airlines/BOA Visa for everything I purchase all year long, then cashing in the miles for the trip using one of their partner airlines. It's a bit difficult as it has to be booked either well in advance, or at the last minute (within about a week of travel) but well worth the hassle for the luxury. Imagine flying from home first class to San Francisco or LA, then flying in a Business Class seat (more like a flying "suite") with amazing service, a lie-flat bed, and all the comforts of home to HKG, then Business Class again from HKG to BKK. I arrive fresh and ready to take on the world. I recently discovered that I can use that same strategy but put it on steroids, and earn miles for doing little more than signing up for certain credit cards. Sometimes you have to spend $3k within the first 3 months; sometimes not. But if you play the game the right way, and plan ahead, you can earn some incredible trips for nothing more than a bit of forethought and organization. For example, I signed up for 3 credit cards today, and as a result I'll have 150,000 miles in my American Airlines account within the next few months. That will pay for a round-trip Business Class seat from Seattle to London in the summer, and then a round-trip Business Class seat from Seattle to New York City in the fall. Anyone interested in more details, or have experiences to share along these lines?
  21. Holy Fuck Batman! I think this girl needs some personal attention from me in a couple of weeks.
  22. Thanks guys. After doing some serious research - using Cathay's own website to look at current First Class availability for the dates I want to travel, then checking the current availability of code shares for first class through Alaska Air, it appears pretty certain I'll be able to get the itinerary changed to leave SFO on CX873 near midnight and arrive BKK around noon. The trick is that Alaska Air doesn't get the additional allotment of First Class seats until about 6-7 days before the flight if they haven't been booked full. And Cathay's First Class (although their are only 6 of them) rarely books full. If I wanted, I could fly out on Cathay First Class via Alaska Air FF Miles tonight, tomorrow night, monday night... almost every night until 7 days from now, when they suddenly have no more availability for the next few months. I'm 90% certain I'll be able to get the tickets changed before my departure, and avoid the long stupid layovers in LA & Hong Kong on way over, and SFO on the way home.
