ok, I had a lot of reactions to this, maybe I'll get in another post later but I was watching a channel I find really interesting and somewhat unique (it's binge worthy btw :) Rick Beato, a music scholar...he did production in the 80s a LOT, and he plays pro stuff note for note, breaks down what makes a song great, and lots of other things but the new one is with an author and scholar (Rick covered his article in the NY Times...why old music is killing new music). I think many of you would find it interesting and be going YES! thru it. At one point they talk about how he predicted the downfall of Netflix and Spotify and he states and almost NONE of the 6000 (not anymore) 4000 titles they carry are OLDER THAN TEN YEARS. Proof of the above statement that Amazon seems set up for only younger people. I strongly encourage anyone who LOVES music and even movie and has been watching as businessmen eviscerate both forms to watch this. Plus it's fun to watch Rick and his two buddies argue about stuff like "you think an SG is Gibson's STRAT???" haha.

as to the golden age and changes, at that time the demand for girls and ladyboys was still relatively low compared to now. the most interesting news to me is reports from the UK that vaccine effectiveness against contracting the virus and even minimizing effects, seem to inidicate it's virtually worthless starting around 6 months after the shot. If this is true ALL this stuff about having to have vax certs to enter countries, etc. is a steaming pile of bull cookies. The only thing saving us is the virus itself which is now in a very non lethal phase often with no symptoms. I've had flu's worst than this thing hits most people. Getting the virus and healing leaves you with VERY GOOD LONG TERM immunity it is reported. just what the FUCK are the Chinese thinking? (if the brain is involved at all in their approach). Planes will fly in and out of China and on every one it liable to be a person who's contracted Omicron but it asymptomatic or not showing symptoms yet but IS CONTAGIOUS. this is a UK gov paper. since the more lethal original strain was edged out by Omicron it would seem those who have always said let your natural immunity do the work were right. Denmark has stopped it's vaccination program, along with some other countries, saying basically "let er RIP!". I've always thought this fight to CONTROL it would only prolong and amplify the suffering. Certainly since Omicron has become the dominant strain the old style "the sky is falling!!!" hysteria is not serving the public.
