I was watching a BBC produced program called QI. It is quite unique and very funny. There are 4 panelists and one host. The aim of the show is for the panelists to answer questions or debate an issue that the host throws at them. However the twist is if you answer the questions correctly you get demerit points and if you answer it incorrectly you accumulate points in the plus column. The more bizarre the incorrect answer the more points a panelist receives. On this particular episode the all male panelists had to debate if God was a man or a woman. On the side that took the position that God was a man one panelist said: "It is impossible that God is a woman because if God was a woman sperm would taste like chocolate." This got the witty panelist a point. The panelist from the other side quickly came back with: "Well, how do you know it doesn't?!" He was quickly awarded 2 points!

Ah yes The Cucumber. I've eaten there also a few times. Never had the Sea Bass but everything else was good. I've also done the brown paper bag routine a number of times and look forward to trying to drive with my eyes dilated while eating trail mix. Sound like a lot of fun.

Kahuna, I have not had the Blue Fin but did have the Sangiovese, Les Portes de Bordeaux, and Barbera D'alba. All three are fine with the Bordeaux being the least interesting. I am not a big Bordeaux fan finding them generally on the heavy side. My wine of preference is a Bourgogne with my favorite region being Cote D'or. I like a lighter, clearer wine with a brownish red hue. Nothing beats popping a cock on one of those, pouring into a decanter, waiting anxiously as it breaths and then slowly sipping the contents as I slip into a kind of euphoria I never grow tired of. I am sure you can empathize. What were the prices at Trader's for your above choices?

Beijo, your point about spending money on dinner and other sundry incidentals prior to taking your date (freelancer p4p or otherwise) back to the room is a good one. We often think of bar-fines as a wasteful annoying tariff and resent handing the baht over. However I would think it a bargain compared to the cost of wining, dining, movies, shopping, et cetera that often times accompanies the internet or freelance date.

Both are opinions and both subjective. Both are equally valid. I do not think anyone intended to flame, slam or express anger. Personally I like taking gals from bars and I get excited with the browsing the trade on Coconut Row or wherever. It's all good.
