Not at all under the influence of anything other than my own quiet moments of introspection, navel picking and pondering questions like past, present, and future. Everyone speaks of past, present, and future but not about NOW. Present for me does not encompass or include NOW. Present is today, this week, this month, this year in our lives. As you've noted there are many "nows" in our use of it in our language. However this is not my slant. It is not language or the use of the word. It is simply what is NOW and how long does it last? I just asked if NOW needs to be defined physically. I like the fish NOW kinda things. Makes sense to me. I was just petitioning others to comment. But then again, perhaps this a one of those philosophical banters that me and Kahuna need to ponder and wrestle with. If so, we'll do it and get back to the rest of you.

So far I have not had a bottle of New Zealand wine that disappointed. However there have been numerous lacklustre Australians. That is not to say there hasn't been excellent Australian bottles also but the choice is vast compared to NZ and often times it's a crap shoot with your country. All the best Paccie!

I had it. It's done, consumed, finished, gone. It was very good and I drank the entire bottle by myself while wondering about how long "Now" is. Do any of you know how long "now" is? I read "now" is 3 to 5 seconds in length. Not longer. That duration is interesting because it is the same length of time a fish's memory lasts. You average aquarium fish has a memory span of 3 to 5 seconds. After that it is all new to them again. I suppose this is why they can swim around in circles, visit the same rock, and think its interesting. There's something to be said about that. And no, I am not posting drunk!!!

Its all rubbish Mardhi. Pick yours. We all have to take some responsibility for the people in front of us offering to represent us. In all reasonable fairness, those who decline have nothing to gripe about. You get what you deserve. So sleep well in your bed while others in steerage struggle to right the ship for all concerned including the apathetic middle and upper class. This was not meant as a poke to you but to all those, left or right who do little but shy away from their responsibility. They know what is wrong but take care of their own interests first. Not unlike what we have done collectively to affect climate change.

Sounds like they've got an enemy. I encourage them to quickly figure out who it is and settle diplomatically (if this is possible in PATTLOS). Otherwise it will continue and be relentless. IMO (and what do I know) a new bar, especially a LB bar should have minded their Ps and Qs until they were well established in the neighborhood. Get to know the neighbors, make friends, be respectful, and then little by little take unnoticeable, inoffensive liberties. Now they have, not only an enemy, but also the watchful eye of the authorities that once paid off will continue to want same. Not good for someone building a business. More attention to these types of matters should have been monitored by management. Just prudent and wise business planning.

Yesterday evening I enjoyed a bottle of white from New Zealand. It's called NEW-Z from a company called DIVIN (perhaps just the importer). It retails for about $13.00. I have never had a disappointing wine from New Zealand and this one continues the tradition. It is excellent, fresh, alive and full-bodied with aromas of citrus. Good stuff. Today I will have a red bourgogne called LUPE. Happy Sunday to you all.

I am stuck in Canada and cannot escape. Gimme a gun so I can end the pain...truly, PAIN!!! Enjoy guys. Boo Hoo on the rest of us. :-(
