I've actually just watched a couple of hours of this. Australia and AFP is indeed the initiator, FBI "handed" the Google phones to the gangs. Well done Australia. Only in our small country 155 arrests were made, compared to Australias 224 arrested. Sweden and Netherlands were the leading countries in Europols participation. More to come I hope . French police hacked EncroChat recently and got excellent evidence being used in courts as we speak. EncroChat was a Europe-based communications network and service provider used by organized crime members to plan criminal activities. Police infiltrated the network between at least March and June 2020 during a Europe-wide investigation. An unidentified source associated with EncroChat announced on the night of 12–13 June 2020 that the company would cease operations because of the police operation.[1][2] The service had around 60,000 subscribers at the time of its closure.[3][4] At least 1,000 arrests have been made across Europe as of 22 December 2020.[5] _________________________________ The ANOM sting operation was a collaboration by law enforcement agencies from several countries, running between 2018 and 2021, that intercepted millions of messages sent through the supposedly secure smartphone-based messaging app ANOM (also styled as AN0M). The app was covertly distributed by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Australian Federal Police, with law enforcement agencies in other countries joining in later. The ANOM service was widely used by criminals, but, instead of allowing secure communication, it actually allowed law enforcement to monitor all communications. The information collected in that sting operationresulted in the prosecution of hundreds of suspects allegedly involved in criminal activity.[1][2] More than 800 people were arrested in 16 countries. The FBI named the operation as Operation Trojan Shield,[3] with the Australian police giving it the name Operation Ironside.[4] The sting operation culminated in search warrants that were executed simultaneously around the globe on 8 June 2021.[13] The background to the sting operation and its transnational nature was revealed following the execution of the search warrants. A large number of arrests were made, including alleged members of Australian-based Italian mafia, Albanian organised crime, outlaw motorcycle gangs, drug syndicates and other crime groups.[1][4][18] Over 800 people were arrested in 16 countries.[19] In the European Union, arrests were coordinated through Europol.[20] Arrests were also made in the United Kingdom, although the National Crime Agency was unwilling to provide details about the number arrested.[21] In Sweden, 155 people were arrested as part of the operation on 7 June.[14] The seized evidence included almost 40 tons of drugs (over eight tons of cocaine, 22 tons of cannabis and cannabis resin, six tons of synthetic drug precursors, two tons of synthetic drugs), 250 guns, 55 luxury cars[19] and more than $48 million in various currencies and cryptocurrencies. In Australia alone, 224 people were arrested on 526 total charges.[18] Over the course of the three years, more than 9,000 police officers across 18 countries were involved in the sting operation. Australian prime minister Scott Morrison said that the sting operation had "struck a heavy blow against organised crime."[1] Europol described it as the "biggest ever law enforcement operation against encrypted communication."[1] In New Zealand, 35 people were arrested and are facing a total of 900 charges. Police seized $3.7 million in assets, including 14 vehicles, drugs, firearms and more than $1 million in cash.[22][23] The following countries participated in the international coalition: Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom incl. Scotland, and the United States. ____________________________________ Early morning at crack of dawn 7 june, Swedish police busted in doors of the worst scum. Some "swedes" (somalians, middle easterners, balkan Albanians) were arrested in Spain. This is such good news. We've seen murders , gang violence like never before here lately. All because of drugs.

Thank you FBI for the sting operation.( I know she looks like a stereotype but she is actually top dog in the police intelligence force). 16 countries cooperating. Never heard of this, nor seen it. Is this a scientific survey or just this one Portuguese lady? I have however read about and watched YouTube videos where mask wearers harass non wearers and stopped them coming in to shops and other establishments. Is that true?

QG, I'm happy to report that despite or horrible strategy with no lockdown and no masks our virus transmission is down 40% from last month. Hospitals/health care coped. Our government declared today we're "opening up" June 1. Restaurants, bars, sports event, concerts, theaters are getting a slow re-opening gradually. We are no longer recommended to only socialise with same people we have been during last 6 months., etc. I hope you are happy too!
  14. Sodom and gomorrah in pandemic times. Bangkok delivers again. I think karaoke is a metaphor for fellatio though. As chicken is for ice/crystal meth.
