How come you can't edit posts on this forum?! I forgot to say that one other possible drawback is that there is no lift. Not a problem for me. My room was on fourth floor though, and the steps are a bit narrow so it was a bit difficult for ladyboys in high heels to walk up. they usually had to take the shoes off! Add: Nuch/Nus one of the ladyboys in Sally's/Roadhouse Bar, who was a sort of unofficial Mamasan, recommended the Sea Breeze Hotel on Jomtien Beach Road, as a nice hotel which is ladyboy friendly and cheaper. I went to have a look at it but ithere seemed to be mainly Russian families staying there.

I stayed at the Nirvana Boutique Suites Hotel Jomtien in Soi 4 last November for 2 weeks. i had a Deluxe Room, which was more like a small suite, with seperate bedroom and living room with kitchenette. I think it was 1,900 Baht per night including breakfast. Has everything you are looking for, room safe, balcony and very lb friendly and quiet. The only letdown is that it has a small pool which is also quite noisy as it's next to the soi, but you do usually get it to yourself as most guests go down to the beach. Another advantage is that the Roadhouse Bar (formerly Sally's Bar) is directly behind the hotel through a short alley at the side of the hotel. I believe there are still at least a couple of ladyboys, and possibly 4-5 working there. you can check it out on Agoda.

It's dry in London at the moment, but the weather forecasters are saying it's going to stay rainy for the next couple of weeks. Something to do with the Jet Stream - I blame those Americans sending it over! It's a lot worse up North though. At least we haven't had much in the way of flooding down South, though there has been some in the Home Counties.

I first went to Havana in 1981 and like you say there were ggs of every description available everywhere - and the rate for taking one ST to your hotel was US$3. And they would apologise for asking for so much saying they had to give a cut to the hotel and the police. After my first trip I went to hotels in the holiday resort of Holguin. Girls would be waiting outside the hotels. But last time I went in 2006 it had changed.Like I said, the chicas were afraid to speak to tourists. I was approached by Cuban guys saying they could arrange a chica, but I was a bit wary of this as it could have been a scam, or they could have been Police. I don't know how the clampdown affected Havana. I would think that there would still be chicas available, but more discretely. The Cuban Government was afraid that Cuba was becoming a destination for sex tourism. I suppose I can't blame them for that, but also it is a pity because the Cuban women are really hot. I never saw any sign of ladyboys, but they weren't on my radar then. I guess there must be some as they seem to be in most Latin American countries, and I believe there are Cuban ladyboys in the USA.

I used to go to Cuba fairly regularly, the first time must have been about 20 years ago. There were a lot of really hot ggs who were available for only a few US$. But I hear that in recent years the police are clamping down on liasons with tourists. The hotels give the names of overnight guests to the police, and they often do roadblocks stopping cars rented by tourists if they have a Cuban with them. Girls who are consorting with tourists can be charged and sentenced to six months 're-education'. A second offence can lead to 2 years jail. Last time I went the ladies were afraid to be seen even talking to a tourist. p4p might be a bit more available in Havana, but the prices have gone up a lot. I doubt that there would be many ladyboys, at least openly. Cuban men have a macho latino culture, and even effeminate or gay looking guys are likely to be abused or have stones thrown at them, though the Government is trying to educate people about homophobla.

Unless your career is now more fun than los (surely not!), maybe you should consider taking some unpaid leave and spending longer in Pattaya than 2 weeks a year. A longer trip means you don't have to cram in all your liasons into a short period and can be more relaxed. I can't understand how you US guys can make that long trip for such short stays. A 12-15 hour trip from UK is bad enough, I don't think I could do the length of flights you guys do.

Weather is cold, grey, wet and miserable in London too. And I don't like sport so the European football cup (or whatever it's called), Wimbledon, and the Olympics fill me with dread with their domination of the telly for the next few weeks. I can only hope the weather improves soon. Well I've got my next trip to Pattaya booked for November, so at least that's something to look forward to.

Yes it is nice to just hang out in there, have a few beers and watch the goings on in the Soi and Hi Boss and Pooks. Vinee, the owner is a British guy! But you might be thinking of his lady who runs the bar.

Yes it's opposite Hi Boss. But I don't think Vinee has had the chop!

Horny Bar is on Soi 6. A small bar which is easy to miss, but it is directly opposite Hi Boss. Mostly ladyboys in there, though there may be some ggs from time to time. It was my favourite bar on my last trip. Relaxed with pretty, friendly but not pushy ladyboys. The owner Vinee (a Brit) is a nice bloke too, and is a BM on this forum. If I can work out how to do it I'll post some pics. Tried to before but couldn't work out to to do it (I'm not very computer literate). OK think I've attached pic:

Made me laugh too. I've seen this clip used before with different subtitles, usually to do with football team rivalries. I remember reading that the original film's makers don't like it being used and have asked youtube to take down any clips that are posted as it is copyrighted. Oh it must have been the jello wrestling evening then. Just speed read your TR. I appreciate your 'not stepping on toes' - you are a gentleman! But while I was very fond of May, I know I was just another customer. I think she saw me as a potential boyfriend or sponsor, but I made it clear to her that I could not 'take care' of her. I didn't see her every night as I knew it would be easy to fall for her, and I know I can't do that. So no need to think you have to steer clear of her in November. I'm not sure that I should even see her then, though I suspect I will.
