They are marketing themselves this way usually to supplement their bar income. When they use sites like Craigs List and Thai Friendly they get all the money and are basically independants although they may be on escort sites too.

I think they would too. Chaos 9 is up to 20 staff (15 LB's and 5 GG's) It's a great place for them to work as they can come and go as they please. It's not so great for the customer because of that. Often a LB they are interested is only there on weekends or night's they think they can get customers. I know one LB who doesn't go if there is the smallest threat of rain. The LB's at the Go Go's have to go to work every night or pay bar fines when they don't go in. I've heard they were told a week or two and they could come back. A lot of them didn't believe this to be the case so they went back to their old bars. In Temptations case they were fining those girls who worked their before 15,000 baht if they wanted to resume work at that bar. I think Charades was being a lot more welcoming as they really need the staff. I've read that Pai has gone back to Charades and I'm sure some other big names that fled for Fairy Bar will return. In my three visits to Temptation in October and a few walk bye's the were void of customers and only had about 10 LB's working. Rainbow was raided last month and two underage GG's were caught out which. They were forced to close for a week. Some think that it was a case of Nana group (Charades/ Obsessions) using BIB connections to hurt the competition. I went on a bar crawl with 3 others one night were we went to LB bars and GG bars. I was surprised how crowded the GG bars were on a week night. It was also surprising how many GG's they had working. This was on a week night. So I can see why Rainbow group maybe bumping the LB's out temporarily. Personally I hope that Fairy Bar returns. It's a much nicer and cleaner than Charades, they don't pound the music and n pushy mamason. They also had a pretty solid staff built up with a lot of big earners from Charades in their line-up

I've had a few of these. Most recently the LB took the call from her husband. I could tell by the way she spoke to him and she gave me the ssh sign while I hammered away. I tried to really give it to her to alter her voice. It wasn't a turn off, if anything it turned into a spite fuck. Funny hearing her say "I miss you so mutt" while I was giving her the high hard one. Generally I don't like them taking phones to bed when we go to sleep. Now that's annoying waking up to some sponsor type calling them in the middle of the night at their own convenience.

I saw Cartoon working at Fairy Bar last month. I'm reading reports that Rainbow group is having difficulties and Fairy Bar may be closing. Rainbow, bar was closed for a period in October due to a road where they caught out two underage GG's. Not sure where Cartoon will land, but she always seems to resurface.

A new nightclub had opened in Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 4 across from Nana Entertainment Plaza. They open late afternoon around 3 or 4, but it will be slim pickings then. Technically their trading hours are 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., but they stay open much later if they have customers still partying. I don't have much experience with Pattaya Bar owners/hosts, but overall for me personally Jimbo has always been what I would like a bar/owner host to be. The trip that I first met him on he went beyond what any bar owners have ever done. He has consistently made sure that I had a great time in his bar and even steered me away from girls that might disappoint me. I always feel appreciated when I visit and his hospitality rubs off on his staff in my opinion. In BKK Chris at Darkside also a great host and when his health limited his bar appearances he would often send down a drink or two to me knowing I would be going there each night bar fining and buying ladydrinks. Like Jimbo he was always helpful and cared about your experience and wanted to know if there was something he could improve. He was also friendly to LB's I brought from outside bars, whereas I've known other LB bar owners who looked down on that for whatever reason. Johnny and Marco of Paradise Club were outstanding, especially for a couple of non ladyboy lovers who never ran a bar before. They really wanted to learn the scene. I remember many nights where they kept the bar open after hours as long as we were still drinking and having a good time. Thus it became my last stop on a night out. It was sad to lose both Darkside and Paradise Club in the last year. I won't go to CIB because of the farng minority owner who in my opinion meddled with the business to much and made it impossible for me to enjoy myself there. It's laughable how reacted when I took my business elsewhere, I never went to the bar because of him, but I know many who don't go there due to him. Kanjana is the owner of Chaos 9. She is Thai and a very good host. She takes suggestions on board if you are a regular visitor. She has really done a good job with the bar. The only drawback is that she isn't there all the time as she often travels to Singapore. She has really done a fantastic job of building the bar back up in her first year of ownership. She has really made some positive changes in that time. On a visit in October the bar was actually to crowded one night for my liking, but it was a good indicator that the bar will indeed succeed. She also keeps it open after hours whenever necessary. I enjoy going to ladyboy bars and I tend to go where my business is appreciated and the owner is attentive and sensitive to the customer.

I saw her a couple of weeks ago working at Fairy Bar in Nana Plaza along with several other ex-Cascade/Charades girls. I didn't catch her number, but you know what she looks like so will be easy to spot in Fairy Bar.

The net has definitely put a major dent in the bars business. Personally I don't like the online shopping for ladyboys as I prefer the bar experience and being to talk to them in person over a drink. I've only resorted to CL for a few daytime encounters. I was 2 for 3 in those and the one that was sour I wrote off to not being able to interact with the ladyboy except for a phone call. I refuse to use Thai Friendly, I don't blame the girls at all for using social media as a tool for getting customers. I know a lot of potential punters are trying to circumvent the bar fine process for whatever reason. It seems to be getting harder and harder for LB bars to survive in today's climate. It always saddens me when we lose a ladyboy bar. I hope there enough guys like me who prefer the bar atmosphere and bar itself to source LB's for them to thrive. I fear that most new customers on the scene will turn to the web for taking the plunge. Thus many may have disappointing results and get turned off the scene simply because they couldn't find the right chemistry with a girl online.
