Thank you mates. As a mater of fact, I didn’t mention this sad story to make people complain me or look for condeleances. I had taken distances with my aunt and cousins 2 decades ago already. However, I feel disturbed – not to say more – by negative attitudes in this crisis. On my first day in a flight school in the USA, I had a briefing warning against 5 hazardous attitudes affecting pilot decisions. 1. Anti authorithy : people don’t want to be told what to do. 2. Invulnerability : people think they can take risks since troubles won’t happen to them. 3. Resignation : people do not see themselves as making a difference when acting. 4. Macho : people believe they are better than other and want to prove it. 5. Impulsivity : people feel the need to do something (anything) immediately and quickly. These attitudes have been so far strong factors adding hazard to to the hazard of covid and cinitiated social and political tensions in many countries. On a smaller, they just let unfortunate people be contaminated, become disabled or die of covid. This is what made me angry in this sad story.

I reacted to the above posts (Rom’s and yours) since I saw they allude to an era that is now long gone. I was watching a coach’s videos dealing with relationships and one of them warned about a girlfriend always referring to her past as a negative girlfriend. Unable to build something for the future. Regarding PY, Rom (and I) gave more detailed explainations in this thread when the off topic posts mentionned PY and Rom chose to lock the thread and summerize the whole. As you above posted, you noticed a couple of facts. It’s something to see it and it’s something else to experience it and be banned. Moreover, I hadn’t noticed how bad they had been with Rom till I understood that they had banned Rom from PY. These start being old stories too. I connect less often to PY for one reason : it’s boring. One would imagine oneself in an environment of courtiers where each one seeks to please an invisible clique but has nothing to say himself. We know very well that it is better to talk about what does not compete with their bars. Do you see a place where owners judge their customers so openly and in bad faith? Even the Vietnamese censorship is bullshit compared to PY. Having said that, PY is not the only bias acting on information about Asian ladyboys and it does not help to project into the future. I am not impressed by Ernesto’s adventures. I have visited most of the places he had visited, especially the south of Thailand and Malaysia. I will never be able to write my adventures as he did. Too bad since I also visited other places. Anyway, mongers focus too much their attention to Pattaya , so I see no interest in wasting with writing. I prefer to collect data and produce information on the subject I am interested in and I spend less time in large forums in which most of the topics are mocked by cliques seeking to assert themselves as brainless dominating alpha males. If «the apeman» appeared in the forum, I’d be happy to know he’s still alive and hopefully healthy. I would congratulate him for his funny videos and would probably ask him where he has mongered since he’d probably been banned from Thailand. However, I wished to see more comments about the future. No one knows when we will be able to travel again but it would be interesting to learn how to spot ladyboys in places like the provinces of the Philippines or Issan and the North of Thailand. I guess this could change what some of us will do in the future.

On Friday 2 weeks ago, I had a special day regarding covid. My aunt had been in the hospital and diagnosed covid+, then moved to the intensive care. A buddy of mine (actually a country fellow met in PY, the only PY member I had met IRL) warnt me that vaccinatination slots were available in his provincial city. In large populated areas, it had been impossible to find an appointment for a vaccination. It had been a real pain in the ass to find one for my father who's closer to 90 years old than 85 and convince him he had to go and get Pfizer injections. On that Friday I rode about 160 miles to find a vaccination center, then visit my friend to talk of ladyboys before coming back home after a long ride in the sunny countryside. As I came back home, I saw my father crying. His sister had passed away of covid after almost 1 week in an induced coma. It was the second time I saw my father cry, the first time having been my mother's funerals. He had always been close to his sister in spite of tensions in the family since they had been teen agers during WWII and the German army occupation. My aunt had 6 children ages ranking from 45 to 60. No one worried to look for an appointment for their mother. trying to find one in internet may be difficult for an old lady but the younger generation had enough competency and free time to do it. After the funerals on Friday last week, 3 of them were covid+. Regretfully, there is a price for those who don't take covid seriously. I felt happy of my victory but my aunt had been the first (and hopefully only) casualty of covid whom I kwew.

I then found a new playground where I had stayed till 2010 but had understood the best time had been over already and I have been to Pattaya). But now, I wonder why you spend so much energy dealing with this time. That was almost 20 years ago and you are still young. So far, I had always thought that the best time has not arrived yet. Why are dealing with such a long time ago ? I believe you feel depressed because of the Covid crisis that causes restrictions to travels and doesn't allow us to meet ladyboys. Being European and having lived as a resident in the USA, I could try to describe differences between Europe and the USA, but I don't think it's worth doing it. If I look for a common weakness that China don't have, I see that individual freedom has been excessively protected against general interest. One of the purposes of a strong government should consist in maintaining harmony between both what has not been the case in both Europe and the USA. You described the USA as deciding policies to please the richest taxpayers. In Europe social democracies opted for reduction in working hours and rigid social laws that lead both a weak competitiveness of industrial businesses and relocating productions that couldn't stay profitable under new regulations. (Conservative governments also favored relocations to please the richest taxpayers too). Another common point is the absence of reaction against the Chinese dumping and/or unfair business. China followed strategies followed before by the new Asian dragons : export low cost products then gain in competitiveness in higher added value products. However, China protects their industries, understood how to practice aggressive markets winning that also lead to the destruction of our businesses. It’s probably true that upper middle class Chinese people come back from the USA with for them real designers cheap watches and clothes ; I also noticed the high price of ladyboys in China. But ladyboys keep on targeting this upper middle class whereas the middle and lower European class mean can still travel to Thailand or SE Asia to monger ladyboys (pre-pandemic). If we stay on the same trend, we (or our children) might see p4p developing to attract Chinese and make extra revenues from their casino tours as this already happens in Cambodia.
