Thought I'd start a wee topic here about tourist visa dramas. I know we are not all on the same holiday duration, but there are, I see, a fair number of us that decide to stay here longer than the 30 day tourist visa duration... I fall into that category on occasion. I work 8 weeks on and 1 month off - which primarily is spent in Thailand. This time however, with policy / visa changes within my work location means I am unable to get an entry visa for the time being and have to extend my stay here. This invariably goes beyond the 30 day limit and as I don't have a definitive departure date I cannot be sure as to the actual duration I'll be here.. Possible end of Feb. I therefore had to get myself an extension somehow. The immigration office in Jomtien would only give me an extension of 7 days costing 1,900 baht then I would have to leave. I could do two visa runs, 15 days extension each time at a cost of around 5,000 baht or use a visa company to do the application for me at 7,000 baht. I ended up doing the visa company method as I wasn't sure of the actual duration of stay. I wondered if anyone else has been through a similar experience. Cheers fella's

As I find myself being drawn to the bar again and again I have to say that last night turned out to be a pretty favourable evening. Quite a few forum members attended and a few new faces off the street wondering what all the noise was all about. As many of you by now are aware, myself and Eve have parted but nevertheless we reamin close friends.. Eve is now the new cashier at the bar and is settling in very well. For those thinking of the question is she available, the answer is unfortunately no. During working hours she will be required in her current role as cashier. I've been asked already and though it best to clarify it here to keep everyone informed. I hope you enjoy the photos I took from the evening. Some shots are not great quality due to my camera battery running out so I improvised with my i-phone.. lol... Having went in to the bar for a quiet few with Tankboy from another forum, we settled down and the spectacle unfolded before our very eyes... It was good to meet fellow members from other forums at the bar as well. Baby Boom is fast becoming a sustainable venue and with 5 new crew, that brings their LB staff to 10... Onwards and Upwards Baby Boom.

Ok, a fair word of warning on the Jay front.... She has a bendy cock..
