  1. I don't have any accounts with pay per view ( Netflix etc) so am relying on free to air stuff. Here in Australia there is a multicultural multilingual public broadcaster SBS which has about 11,000 hours of shows and movies and just so happen to have 7 seasons of Spiral which are available for about 12 months so I'll put that on my ever increasing to watch list.
  2. It's almost imperceptible but the diagonal in fig A is just below a straight line and in fig B it is just above a straight line with the total of the differences making 1 square. It is most noticeable when looking at the points where the blue and red triangles meet each other in each diagram by looking at the same point in the other diagram.
  3. Something to do with the angle difference between the blue and red triangle and how it slots into the grid.
  4. If B, C, D, E, K were rotated 180 degrees would they not look like this: ꓘ' Ǝ' ᗡ' Ͻ' ꓭ ? I think you were referring to flipping the letters (keeping the same left/right orientation) and if so your answer would be correct.
  5. Ok, maybe I should have said rotated 180 degrees
  6. It is extremely well produced and acted and storylines keep you engrossed. For seasons 3 and 4 I am watching 2 episodes a night as it is that good. I don't know what I'll do after next week when I have finished season 5. It was produced by Canal+ the same company that had a hand in producing Zero Zero Zero.
  7. I am currently watching The Bureau and up to season 4 episode 8. All 5 seasons currently on SBS on Demand in Australia for those here and with a VPN but season 4 is only available to 27th November 2020 all other seasons available for at least a further year.
  8. Would it be N? Same same upside down?
  9. As you say Seven, Brilliant!! Watched all 8 episodes early July. Is available here in Australia for free on SBS on demand until Mar 2023 for those here and those that have VPN.
  10. I agree with Tomcat = 18 8 squares of 1x1 5 squares of 2x2 4 squares of 3x3 1 square of 4x4
  11. Ah ha, that one I do know: Universal Serial Bus.
  12. I checked the article and yes they spelt (spelled for those in USA) borders as boarders. Strange one would think as the Yahoo article is shown to be a reproduction of a Cosmopolitan UK article.
  13. Only know the top right definitely but the 2 on the left seem familiar.
  14. DACA? DHS? As an Aussie don't know those even though you were kind enough to explain APA! I like to keep up with world affairs but unfortunately more and more people now use local acronyms and nicknames so makes it hard to keep up. Some newspapers are rife with unexplained acronyms.
  15. Thanks for the feedback gents. It seems to be working better this morning. May have been a slow server somewhere in the scheme of things.
  16. I clear cache, history etc every day before shutting down browsers. I also use AVG tune up weekly which clears all broken shortcuts, fixes registry etc etc. The problem is specific to LBR as the only other forum I am a member of works perfectly. Spose I'll just see how it goes for a while, thanks for getting back to me promptly.
  17. Is anyone else having problems with the forum on desktop? For the last week the forum has been extremely slow to respond on both Chrome and Firefox. For example when logging in it takes a couple of minutes to bring up the Home page and then when trying to get to 1st unread post on a thread it hangs for a few minutes and often I have had to click on the forum's header, then the last page in the sub-forum to get to the post. Getting back to Home page then takes a while as well.
  18. From countries I've been in Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore
  19. Actually it is still on topic as sunrise fits into "other heavenly sights"
  20. Is the movie My Thai Bride, a doco about a Welsh guy made in 2011? Synopsis – one paragraphTed, a 46-year old salesman from Wales, visits Thailand on business. After revelling in the carnal pleasures of Bangkok, he falls in love with Tip, a bar girl. They marry and start a new life in her poor, rural home. Ted soon finds he isn’t alone. In northeast Thailand marriage to foreign men has become an industry. Things soon sour for Ted. His money has disappeared much faster than he expected. No one seems to want him around the farm anymore. When Ted asks Tip if she loves him, she replies: “I can’t eat or drink your love.” Ted returns home destitute, having learned what his Thai wife already knew: without money you lose everything. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/mythaibride
  21. In January 2006, I was in the Philippines (my 2nd visit) and met up with a 25yo GG whom I had chatted to on internet and we traveled around a number of places with me using a Lonely Planet travel guide to find places to stay. We ended up staying one night at a beachside resort(?) where we were the only 2 people guests as the place only opened certain times during the year and was winding down after the New Year holidays. When inquiring about dinner we were told to wander up the beach to the next resort where dinner was had overlooking the bay and arranged with the owner to move to that resort the following day. I took numerous pictures of the sunset and rather than upload the 35 approx photos from one night I thought I would try something different.
