Food vendors been told they have 3 more years (while something being built/knocked down)? Bar owners told nothing yet - they are having a meeting soon.

Have known Kelly about 4 years. Met her on her 1st week in the bar. Crying and wanting to go home. Dao asked me to buy her a drink and shoot some pool - which I did. Limited English - then. Friend of my LBGF. so never been with her. Kelly is very outgoing, not shy and can be very bubbly. Fond of a drink- and speaks very good English.

Agree that Quiz Night wouldn't be on my holiday wish list - but as mentioned living here it makes a change. After a shaky non-start Hemingways Quiz is now on Monday nights.Similar topics etc as Shenanigans - but different question master. Only 4 or 5 teams playing at the moment. Good half time free snacks. Yes the 'music round' was tedious - if you didn't know the answer put in 'Beach Boys' or 'Beatles'.

Apologies in advance as this has probably nothing to do with LB's but - the pub/bar formerly known as 'Shenanigans' now re- opened as 'Hemingways' - I'm told has a Quiz on Thursday nights. I know members here used to participate.

Loud music in Boss Bar now drowned out by live music from Witherspoons across the road.

Lur Saluces - Sally in 'Nice' bar last night - now believed to be freelancing. I was in Roadhouse - quite busy - good turn out of LB's. Punters seemed mainly to be curious visitors.

Hopefully she will get there. Two or three ex Sally/Roadhouse LB's now working/Freelancing at 'Happy Bar' near top of Soi 7 away from Jomtien Beach Road.

Sally not at 'Number One Bar - but has her own new 'Sally Bar' just after 'Roadhouse' and before 'Number One Bar'. more later.

Should have said "Roadhouse" in previous post. A few steps beyond "Roadhouse" (ex Sally's) on Soi 5 - the 'Number One Bar' has re-opened with a couple of LB's showing. Understand that Sally herself may be Mamasan. LB's in Roadhouse keep changing with stalwart 'Som' still hanging in there. Rompho Bars - still seek and find the LB's.

Shenanigans not my favoured drinking hole -but I did enjoy playing the quiz there over the past 3 years - on and off. That 'last night' did come out of the blue. I remember a couple of years ago when there was much neck-craning and head swiveling when a guy walked in with 2 OTT 6 foot plus LB's on his arm. Outstanding. Sadly Sally's' and Studio 54 both looking desperate.

Nook obligingly dropped them out last night - mainly for the benefit of the 2 LBG's I was with - would have been bad manners I suppose to take a pic of them. The 'Nums' that is - and they are delightful.!

At the top of the Rompho Market Complex a new Barbecue/Help/Do-it-yourself Restaurant has opened up in the past week or so. Previously there was a fixed price menu one. It's at the very end of the bars past 'Naughty Girl' Bar (closed). Further back down - left hand lane at Buddy's Bar a delightful leggy gawky teenage (?) LB (Femboy). ?

In The Ray Bar - Nook now has delightful 'Bolt-Ons' This old pic unfortunately.

Word reaches me that "Apple" who worked in "Sally's Bar" (Roadhouse) about 4 years ago has gone to Buddha. No more details. Last saw her about 3 years ago when she had left the P4P scene. A delightful girl - often described as a Billie Piper lookalike.

Walk by the frontage of the complex (on your left) past Corner House Bar - past small soi - Apartment Block - then 7-11 and you're almost onto it.

There is I believe a 24 Hour "Love Hotel" a few strides past the Rompho complex. Anyone used it. ?
