  1. Shenanigans not my favoured drinking hole -but I did enjoy playing the quiz there over the past 3 years - on and off. That 'last night' did come out of the blue. I remember a couple of years ago when there was much neck-craning and head swiveling when a guy walked in with 2 OTT 6 foot plus LB's on his arm. Outstanding. Sadly Sally's' and Studio 54 both looking desperate.
  2. Nook obligingly dropped them out last night - mainly for the benefit of the 2 LBG's I was with - would have been bad manners I suppose to take a pic of them. The 'Nums' that is - and they are delightful.!
  3. At the top of the Rompho Market Complex a new Barbecue/Help/Do-it-yourself Restaurant has opened up in the past week or so. Previously there was a fixed price menu one. It's at the very end of the bars past 'Naughty Girl' Bar (closed). Further back down - left hand lane at Buddy's Bar a delightful leggy gawky teenage (?) LB (Femboy). ?

  7. In The Ray Bar - Nook now has delightful 'Bolt-Ons' This old pic unfortunately.
  8. Word reaches me that "Apple" who worked in "Sally's Bar" (Roadhouse) about 4 years ago has gone to Buddha. No more details. Last saw her about 3 years ago when she had left the P4P scene. A delightful girl - often described as a Billie Piper lookalike.
  9. Walk by the frontage of the complex (on your left) past Corner House Bar - past small soi - Apartment Block - then 7-11 and you're almost onto it.
  10. There is I believe a 24 Hour "Love Hotel" a few strides past the Rompho complex. Anyone used it. ?
  11. . . . . oh nearly forgot June in Zero Bar has a new nose. !
  12. Boss lady of the popular Party Girl Bar killed in car smash last weekend - boyfriend (owned a couple or so of Rompho Bars) - 50/50. "Mod" pictured above now in Devils Ballroom Bar along with big jugged post op LB. "Mint Bar" now almost a LB free zone.
  13. More info' required. Who was she. !!!!!
  14. Big Buddha Days - Lent. Go party on the beach.
  15. As Tom Waits says: "I'm so goddamn horny, the crack of dawn better be careful around me"! Nighthawks at the Diner (1975). Yes some of the FL's on Jom Beach Road are worth it.
  16. The other night a punter BF'd all 6 LB's from the Roadhouse - leaving it empty ! All back there last night tho' - but lack of customers.
  17. "Roadhouse" (Soi 5) LB's usually on parade mid-afternoon.
  18. Roadhouse Bar Soi 5 tonight - 7 LB's - 3 GG's - 3 Customers. Also 6 FL'ers Bottom Soi 5/6/7
  19. No drinks on the house for you. In 1931, the small brewery at Felinfoel was the first brewery outside the USA to commerically can beer. Prior to this time, beer was only available in barrels or in glass bottles. From this time, lightweight tin cans could be used. Felinfoel Brewery was a major supplier to British armed forces abroad in the Second World War - cans saved a great deal of space and weight for wartime exports compared to glass bottles, and did not have to be returned for refilling. These early cans did not have a 'pull tab', instead they had a 'crown cork' (beer bottle top). All modern UK canned beer is descended from these small, early cans which helped change the drinking and beer-buying habits of the British public. From the 18th century until the early 20th century Wales dominated world tinplate production, peaking in the early 1890s when 80% of world's tinplate was produced in south Wales.
  20. Thankfully Singha Light is only 70 Baht in Tick Bar (wrong info' given previously) also new LB in there. Still earshattering music (?) tho'.
  21. And for F***s sake why. 55555 That was not really anything to do with the answer - just a swipe at tinned beers.
  22. 30 Degrees in February (English Subs') "compelling ten-part drama 30 Degrees in February follows a group of Swedes who've left the snow and cold of Scandinavia for the warm, sandy beaches of Thailand in the dead of winter. Why? To embark on a life-changing adventure, a fresh start and a new life, of course". Their words not mine. Well it's not that bad - nice glimpses of bar life in Phuket http://www.sky.com/tv/show/30-degrees-in-february
