  1. On February 23rd, 2024, CP All Plc., publicly revealed business profit results for 2023 for Seven-Eleven in which the convenience stores had an overall income of 399 billion baht, having a gross profit of 112 billion baht and increasing from the previous year by 16.1%.

CP All stated to the public that the increasing profit and income was from an increase in average sales of 5.5% or 80,837 baht daily on average in each 7-11. It was reported that each customer spent 83 baht on average per bill and each store had daily 965 customers on average.

This result was from new strategic plans to expand the customer base with new products and promotions, according to CP All.

Furthermore, CP All reached customers with other means such as 7-11 vending machines, 7-Delivery application, and 707 new 7-11 branches nationwide in 2023. This approach could create opportunities from continuously improving economic conditions and increasing the numbers of foreign and Thai customers in 2023.

7-11 had additional income of more than 23 billion baht from space rental, contracts to be a business partner with CP All, and other business strategies.

However, 7-11 had distribution costs and administrative expenses of 115 billion baht, or increasing from the previous year by 12.1% for employees’ welfare, salary, utility bills, advertisements, and other miscellaneous expenses.

Even with higher expenses deducted, however, the profits were still solid as there was a total of 26 billion baht, or increasing from the previous year (2022) of 25.5%, which had a net profit of 15 billion baht, increasing from the previous year (2021) of 35.1%.

In 2024, CP All anticipated for the business trends of 7-11 that there was a plan to expand new 7-11 stores with more than 700 branches aimed at local levels, tourist attractions, and other potential locations to reach more customers. Moreover, CP All planned to establish new branches in Cambodia and Laos in the future.

    Excellent Khun Dan!   :clapping:

สาวสอง or Sao Song is a nice but informal word for ladyboys more literally woman of the second kind.   Nicer word than katoey which is somewhat pejorative.

Seems like they are offering Salary + Freelance.   Might mean the girls have a choice of a salary or freelance.

  3. Boeing said on Wednesday that it was shaking up the leadership in its commercial airplanes unit after a harrowing incident last month during which a piece fell off a 737 Max 9 jet in flight.

Ed Clark, the head of Boeing’s 737 Max program, which includes the Max 9, is leaving immediately, Stan Deal, the chief executive of the commercial airplanes unit, said in a memo to employees. Boeing, which also announced other leadership changes, has been under pressure from regulators, airlines and members of Congress to prove that it is committed to making safe planes.

Boeing announced in recent weeks that it was overhauling its quality control process, including increased inspections at the factory in Renton, Wash., where Mr. Clark oversaw Max production. The leadership changes are the company’s most prominent attempt to show it is holding itself accountable for the Jan. 5 incident that left a fuselage hole in an Alaska Airlines plane.

Mr. Clark took over the Max program in 2021 as the company was accelerating production of the plane, which had been banned from flight worldwide for 20 months after two fatal crashes in which 346 people were killed. Those crashes cost Boeing billions of dollars, deeply damaged its image and attracted far more scrutiny of the company from regulators worldwide.

Thanks for reporting, Rom. No reporting from Patts these days even though we have several members living there.

What's Patts like now? Is it busy? Many russkies?

I think Pattaya is busy. Too busy for my taste.  I've never seen Walking Street busier though many on Walking Street are just there to walk.

As far as ethnic groups it's very location dependent.  South Asians are by far the biggest ethnic group in South Pattaya but don't seem to go to the Treetown/LK/Pothole area which is the nexus of ladyboy activity.

Russians are the main ethnic group in Jomtien and Pratumnak and many can be seen with their ubiquitous thin white hoodies.  In general, Russians are come hear with wives and girlfriends so are not a huge presence in monger bars.

Many Chinese are on group tours and stay in hotels off the beaten track and are transported around by tour busses. The Edge and Base condos are also popular with the Chinese.  Last week was busy in my better half's massage shop due to Chinese New Year.

I dont hear much on the ground about the beautiful Lily....and impressions.....

I met Lily for the first time tonight and in person she's even better than her pics.  Very friendly girl.  I was very impressed.  Have no experience in the room with her but if I was going to barfine she'd be very high on the list.

Fun bar - haven't been to this one yet but is on the list. What would you guys say is the best time to hit the place ? (I describe "best" as the sweet spot between when the girls are starting to get in the fun zone, aren't grumpy from last night's hangover, but aren't haven't gone full mental either.) Usually.... post 10pm in CS and Obsessions?

Interesting topic that is worthy of its own thread.

My personal opinion is the time that works best for you.  some guys are early risers; others late risers.

But beyond personal preference, I think it depends what your objective is.  If your intention is to barfine then perhaps early is better so your conquest dujour isn't drained of cum.  If your intention is to have fun in the bar and do some groping perhaps later is better when the girls are drunk.

Recently I was in a bar very early and got an indifferent reception from someone who is usually quite friendly.  But ours later I was felling her dick through her panties. I think many of the girls are borderline alcoholics so might be grumpy before they have their fist drink.

In the Check In thread where it was posted, Dan replied that post 10 PM is usually best and I would agree that bars are more fun post 10 PM although I don't have lots of recent experience with Check In Bar.  Last year, I arrived at 1:00 PM and the girls were rocking out with their cocks out. Fun time!   But then I went to Cindy's at 2:15 and it was quiet as many of the girls had already left.

    make a small profit :)

Another way to make a small profit is to exchange baht for one dollar denominated USD with Georgie W's pic on them and spend those dollars in the USA or Cambodia.

In Cambodia you can even go further by trading the USD for Riel at the correct rate and then spending the riel at the informal rate of 4000/dollar.

  8. Pulci Gorgon points out an even easier method.  Just right click on the page number you want and choose "Open Link In New Tab".  Just tried it and it works for me too.

    Screen Shot 2024-02-18 at 10.16.25.png

This method also works for those who can't give Likes.

Pulci Gorgon also points out that using Firefox solves the problem and you can change pages or give Likes normally.  I just remembered that I was having problems giving Likes and changing pages on Chrome so I switched to Firefox a couple months ago.

Pulci Gorgon mentioned that Opera also works well him but both Chrome and Edge are not ideal.   Mac users, PC users, Android users may have different experiences.  YMMV

  9. A few members have reported difficulty moving to a different page in a topic/thread.   Certain combinations of an operating system and a browser may not work correctly.  Sometimes just changing to a different browser works. Not always. Sometimes clearing your browser cache may work.

Here's a simple hack I just discovered.   Let's use the Why Not Bar thread as an example.

If look at the recent url (located all the way up top) of a recent post you will see this:

    http://www.ladyboyreview.com/index.php?/topic/7436-why-not-bangkok/page/36/#comment-235422

Erase the #comment-235422 and change the page number to the one you want. In this example let's say you want Page 26 so change 36 to 26 after you deleted #comment -235422 and press enter. So the link will look like this:

    http://www.ladyboyreview.com/index.php?/topic/7436-why-not-bangkok/page/26/

I realize it's a pain in the ass to change browsers or clear caches or use the above hack.  But it's very difficult to isolate and correct a problem that might affect around 15% of our members.

The inconvenience of using this hack may not be worth it to just go to another page in a thread.  But if it's a thread that you are very interested in and want to go forward or backwards then this is a method that should work.

Perhaps the most underrated ladyboy bar in Pattaya. Not the sort of place where you hang out with your mates drinking but rather geared towards sex.

The pricing is quite good too as a beer for you plus a ladydrink usually comes to about 180 baht and the short time room/barfine fee is 300.

I'd say 3AM is prime time for JeJe on the corner of Buakhao and Soi Pothole.  Great sound system so the loud music doesn't hurt your ears.  Open until sunrise many mornings.

  14. After James Nicholson went through a breakup in October, he realized that he was at a point in his life when he wanted to focus more on himself than on someone else, but without losing the perks of romantic intimacy.

He was juggling work and grief from losing a family member, all while parenting a 14-year-old with his ex-wife. So Mr. Nicholson, a 46-year-old Bronx resident, decided to embark on a journey of solo polyamory. To Mr. Nicholson, that meant dating several people at once with no intention to ride the relationship escalator to the top.

“I'm open to connecting with others, but it may not be just one other person,” he said in a phone interview. “It is really based on how schedules line up.”

It’s hard to miss the growing interest these days in polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, the term du jour for having multiple and consensual romantic relationships. The new year kicked off with a slew of articles on the subject from a number of publications that shed light on the practice and lifestyle.

But among all the throuples, polycules and nesting partners, there exists another category of polyamory that still throws many for a loop: solo polyamory, or having concurrent intimate relationships while maintaining independence. For the solo poly, the end goal is not an exclusive partnership, marriage, shared finances or cohabitation.

The concept becomes a little less confusing when you break the term up. Solo? You’re your No. 1 focus. Poly? You’re interested in seeing several people at once. The specific details will vary from person to person.

In interviews with people who identify as solo poly, many described facing misconceptions about their lifestyle. Two of the chief distinctions that separates them from other singles who are dating is that solo poly relationships rely heavily on communication and transparency, and they aren’t defined by the end goal of finding a soul mate. And unlike other polyamorous relationships, their partners don’t interact.

For most people who are dating, “you’re single, maybe dating someone, and you don’t tell them about other people you’re dating,” Mr. Nicholson said. “There might be a lot more discretion, shall we say, with how you communicate with whoever you’re dating.”

One thing to be aware of when it comes to being solo poly, according to Mr. Nicholson, is that if you are prioritizing yourself, then you should expect the same treatment: “No one is going to specifically prioritize you.”

Tyomi Morgan, 36, a certified sexologist in Atlanta, was living the solo poly lifestyle long before she discovered the term, in 2016.

“Fourteen years ago, I did not have this language,” she said in a phone interview. “It was not in my awareness at all. It does feel fairly new.”

“I just know that having an open lifestyle was a thing,” she continued, “and I decided instead of being monogamous that I would be non-monogamous, and I would be transparent about that with people in my life.”

As these types of lifestyles gain steam — a 2023 YouGov poll found that one-third of Americans described their ideal relationship as something other than complete monogamy — some people have responded with skepticism to the idea of solo polyamory, writing it off as just a new label for being single and casually dating or sleeping around.

“I hate my generation of men,” one woman posted on X. “What do you mean you’re solo poly and straight? … That’s literally just a man.”

Solo poly? “Bruh, I think you mean single,” another wrote. “You just *have* to have a special little identity for every corner of your romantic life.”

For Ms. Morgan, being solo poly means there’s no expectation for her to live with any of her partners and she’s at the center of all her relationships, which include a long-distance relationship, a few more meaningful partnerships and some casual connections. She said she didn’t love any one of her partners more or less than another.

“I experience so much freedom and happiness in being solo and just prioritizing myself first,” she said. “As somebody who’s a recovering codependent and people pleaser, it feels good to center myself in relationships and not feel like I have this hard obligation to necessarily be with a particular group of people.”

The hardest part of being solo poly, in Ms. Morgan’s experience, has been maintaining healthy emotional regulation and staying aware of her own needs in the midst of it all.

So is “solo poly” a helpful label, a way to be more transparent with romantic and sexual partners? Or is it just another unnecessary term to describe behaviors that have long existed? For Mr. Nicholson, the label helps him clearly define exactly the type of single he is for the time being.

The label sets a tone that he hopes can encourage “healthy, open, transparent connection and communication,” he said, “for whoever I’m dealing with on an ongoing basis.”

  15. A Canadian passenger reportedly experienced a panic attack while a plane was taking off from Chiang Mai International Airport last night and attempted to open the plane door, causing chaos and a delay at the airport. The situation was brought under control at around 11pm.

Facebook account Watcharapon Pethsurp posted about the incident at about 9.57pm yesterday, February 7. The post included a picture of the 40 year old Canadian national, Wong Sai Heung, standing on the plane.

“The plane was about to take off but this passenger had a panic attack and tried to open the door. When will I arrive in Bangkok?”

The problem occurred on the TG121 Chiang Mai-Bangkok Thai Airways flight. The flight was originally scheduled to depart from Chiang Mai International Airport at 9.05pm and arrived at Suvarnabhumi International Airport about one hour later.

MGR reported that the Wong left his seat, approached one of the flight attendants, and pushed her towards the plane door. He demanded that the flight attendant open the plane door, forcing the pilot to make an emergency stop on the runway.

The plane eventually returned to its parking spot, and police officers arrived to apprehend the panicked foreign man for further legal action. Other passengers, mainly foreigners, were escorted to a hotel near the airport, where they waited for their rescheduled flight to Bangkok.

Thai Airways later made an official announcement that the plane was thoroughly checked to ensure passengers’ safety. The flight successfully operated to Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12.34am, today, February 8. The airline confirmed that all passengers and cabin crew were safe.

The issue also affected the schedule of other flights departing and landing at Chiang Mai Airport. MGR Online reported that the KE677 Incheon-Chiang Mai flight of Korean Air had to land at Suvarnabhumi Airport instead, and the 7C4257 Busan-Chiang Mai flight had to land at Wattay International Airport in Laos.

The situation was eventually brought under control, allowing the planes to land again around 11pm.
Chiang Mai Airport, Thai Airways, and the police have not yet revealed the punishment against the panic-stricken Wong. According to the Act on Certain Offenses Against Air Navigation, the foreigner may face three charges including:

Section 7: violating or failing to comply with orders to maintain rules and neatness in the airport. The penalty will be imprisonment of up to one year, a fine of up to 40,000 baht or both.
Section 13: frightening cabin crew by threatening or doing any actions. The penalty will be imprisonment of up to seven years, a fine of up to 280,000 baht, or both.
Section 17: taking control of an aircraft by using force or threatening to harm the aircraft. The penalty will be death punishment, life imprisonment, or imprisonment from 10 to 20 years.
In addition to legal consequences, the foreign man may be required to pay compensation to Thai Airways for the loss.
