Assuming your comment is not meant to be facetious , in the USA we have the separation of church and state in our constitution (First Amendment/Establishment Clause) which makes it illegal to use the Christian Bible or any other religious text to teach/promote a particular religion in a public school. I recently extended my 60 day tourist visa for 30 days and learned there is apparently a new rule/paperwork requirement for getting a 30 day extension on a tourist visa. You must bring documentation from the hotel/guesthouse where you are staying in order to be granted the visa extension. I went to the Thai immigration office in Jomtien Thursday with my passport but no documentation from my guesthouse and was turned away. Fook! Had to go back Friday to get my extension. What was frustrating is that they didn't even appear to read the fooking document I brought from my guesthouse. Argh!!!

The District of Columba (Washington, D.C.) is indeed the smallest, and only, non-state geographic region within the United States. It has it's own municipal government, but Congress has supreme legal jurisdiction over it, and can repeal any law passed the DC municipal government. The District of Columbia is represented in Congress by a single non-voting delegate in the House of Representatives. Now don't I sound like a mister smarty-pants?
