I'm still here. Not much to report to be honest. Flights are booked. Researching the various places in Cebu looking for a place to stay. I plan on staying in a hotel for a week and using this time to search for a more permanent base. Maybe a. Condo or apartment. Looking for something convenient and safe that doesn't break the bank. I'm talking to two girls right now. Again they're putting pressure on to make a commitment to them so I think it may be time to cut loose and move on. I have no intention of falling in love but. I would prefer to stay with one or two nicer girls for my visit. It should minimize any rust of STDs I'm not sending money to anyone. I have no problem treating them while there. I am looking at this as a place for a possible future retirement destination so i will be doing more than mongering. I plan on visiting bohol and Dumagette while there. Funding depending I may also visit Vietnam Cambodia and northern Thailand also. But that has yet to be decided. At the moment in just trying not to get too excited about the trip. The wait is long enough.

Update. Just booked my flights. I had a few nerves about such a long trip but I went ahead as I know I really want and need to experience this. I'll be leaving my home and not seeing my family for quite a long period with no backup. Going to a place I have never seen and staying this long alone is daunting.

With some advice from here i posted a profile on a dating site popular with Pi ladyboys. After a week I took it down as I couldn't cope with the volume of response I was getting. This with the fact I see many smoking hot tgirls from Pi online made my mind up. After a few months research I am now booking my ticket in two days. I will be leaving early November.

Thanks Pdogg I am hoping that i can go somewhere that has a friendly expat community. The thing I'm a bit wary of with pattaya from looking online is many of the apartments are small. Ideally I'd like something about 66m2 or bigger. The thing that attracts me to the Philippines is the English speaking locals. I imagine things can get tedious trying to speak pigeon English.

Im new here so I wish to apologize if this is a wrong topic. I will be early retired from my job in a year. Im making plans to get more work but in also considering my other options. I like the idea of spending some. Time travelling around SE Asia. My pension will be approx $1500pm depending on exchange rates. I know its not a huge sum but i see other sites saying its enough. would that be enough to live on PI for a few months. What kind of lifestyle would it provide.
