Sam and I were bouncing around this idea a couple of weeks ago. What I like best about it is simply by posting the opening on every Thai forum there will be an insatnt buzz. Perhaps some would go for the novelty. I suppose some ladies get waxed regularly. I personally would not have my balls shaved at any price; don't want a blade down there. But my bush is out of control right now, so perhaps a mild trim is in order. I think both men and women would prefer a woman or ladyboy trimmer. As far as an actual shave I would prefer a ladyboy as if someone is going to shave my balls I want them to know the stakes involved. For a name, "Shave That Thang!"

Hi Fridge, My problem is that my USA credit cards are all expiring by the time I'll be in Cambo and not sure if I'll have the new ones in my posession. So if I use by Thai debit cards in Cambo I will probably incur fees and maybe even a very poor exchange rate, which is what I'm trying to find out. I have 3 Thai debit cards which were issued on the spot. But I have no Thai credit cards.

Been to Cambodia once and brought American dollars and my USA credit card and had no problems. Big plus that there aren't foreign exchange surcharges sine I'm withdrawing dollars. I may be going back there, this time for a few months to teach. A three month trip requires more planning than a two week trip. Timing is very bad as it is about the same time so of my American credit cards exprire and not sure if I will have physical possesion of them. Now as a backup I have Thai credit cards. I assume the exchnage rate would be the interbank Dollar/Baht exchange rate but am also wondering what fees the Thai banks will charge. Now of course, I'll wander down and ask the Thai banks where I have account but don't expect a good answer. Even in the States no banker has been able to explain the fees to me and neiother has any customer phine rep. Problem involves both Visa and the issuing bank both taking a cut. Anyone have any experience using credit/debit cards of ASEAN countries to withdraw dollars in Cambo?

More pretty girls....... In Post 7 the first pic looks like Bee of Sally Bar before she won the contest with the prize being a new rack. In Post 7 the fourth pic looks like Apun (Apple) of Sally Bar. I would agree that this competeition was probably the highlight of the 2009. The excitemnet started way before the event with a few of teams holding plenty of pracice sessions.

Pic 1-Arriving on gameday is the lovely Ninew. Not sure if she played or was cheerleading for Sally Bar but for sure she's sweetie with a teriffic sence of humour. :)

Good question and interesting overall analysis Hound! I think the equilibrium FX rate might be in the neighborhood of 25 baht/USD as before the Asian currency crisis of 1997. From what I read, it is not easy for a small country such as Thailand to keep currency propped up, and I think the BOT would prefer a somewhat weaker baht to makle exports (and tourism is an export too in this sense) more atractive. It's clear to me that the average Joe in the West is hurting while ASEAN counties are are on the upswing and in my view that's the longterm macro trend.

The volleyball competitions are a prime example of how one man's vision can make things happen. Hat's off to Khun Rossco for creating two spectacular events. :) Certainly worthy of it's own thread.

I stayed at the Raming and looked at the Pornping. At that price point, the Raming wins hands down. Btw, good falang food can be found at Chez Marco, next dor to Raming.

If this thread takes off it could be a real treasure trove for historians. The ladyboys I know best from Indo don't seem too dominant but then that's not my thing and I don't have much experience with warias. I doubt Ladyboy review will be still around in 2111 but it gave me a rush throughout my whole body that it is possible that we will still be active long after all the founding members have pased on. All this got me to thinking so i googled Questionable Girls of Thailand Yahoo Group to look at my newbie posts for a chuckle. It seems after a Yahoo Group is defunct for awhile it can be registered under a new name and it was re-incarnated in 2006. But just as DNA evidence is solving crimes from 40 years and carbon dating is invaluable to archeologists, there could be new methods of retrvial in the future. I'm basicly a shut-in but got out a bit this week, on Wednesday to Lily's birthday bash at Famous and last night to Sally's in Jomtien. Sally's is agood place to chill as the music is good and volume is low. The ladyboys are laid back, not pushy at all. Spotted Milk, Gatoon, and Apple; all young and cute. Only 10 baht away from Pattaya.
