For an example, I stayed at Ibis Bangkok Nana when I went there. They took GGs and LBs alike without hassle, though collected the IDs from LBs, not from the GG I brought (mighta been a coincidence). There's an Ibis (or maybe two, they opened another I think) in Phuket too. Not a 5-star, that's a 2/3-star chain, but at least reliable and clean hotels with some standards-albeit small rooms. You might try Novotel, the 4-star brand of the same chain (Accor) if the star level is an issue and if there is one at Phuket too. Did not stay there, but my assumption is they probably have the same-or at least similar policies.

I don't. I'm not a LOS frequenter, in fact I've only been there twice. First was 2011 November, second was 2012 October. Being a bit far from the country, not familiar with its celebrities (LB or else) much either. Those LB beauty contests only find their way in my place's media as....you know those sections themed: "interesting news 'round the world" I knew she looked familiar, but the only place I have seen her is apparently on my computer screen :) Thanx for solving my mystery :)

I'm also thinking about doing a Cambodia trip in the future-just in planning phase right now, that's even why I became a member of here in the first place. There's small info in other forums regarding this. What I thought was, to stay in those bar-guesthouse combinations and take the gal from the bar downstairs straight up to my room, therefore save time and bypass the guest policies. Do you think it's a good idea? Also say, if I pick up a girl from another bar-disco-whatever and come to the bar-guesthouse I'm staying at, will there be any problems? Like the guesthouse will not admit an outsider, gals in the place see it as a turf invasion, etc.

Well, the first post was really so-and I kinda thought about your similarity of thinking with my thinking before I gave up, but the second one with "too good to be a coincidence" seemed like an accusation to me. I have this tendency to take sarcasm literally, unfortunately, so sometimes even it's a joke or humor, I might not have gotten that. In that case, sorry.

If you're in doubt for a double account, this is easily understandable by checking the IP addresses. Forum adminstration can have this info I think. And I personally demand my IP address researched and compared with jay100's. I'm not a faker.

I was jaded, but no more. Once you admit defeat, it's easier for you to cope with that stuff. You don't care anymore. About finding someone over there...well, I can only go to LOS for short times, I'm mostly based (more like stuck) at home here. I dug the dating sites for quite a long time, no avail either. I think love and relationships need some skills that I lack. Not everyone can play a musical instrument, can they? Besides, if that was so good, why did my parents divorce? Well, I'm at the opposite side. After being rejected and dumped by every girl in my whole life, I've given up the whole idea of any relationships and started going straight for p4p. Not even one night stands. For sex, you'll be paying money one way or the other-trust me, steady girlfriends cost much much more-so why put anything in between? True, in a huge bar like Cascade meeting the mamasan herself is kinda difficult. Regarding this thread, I had this experience and being still green on some aspects, I've been had....a little. I was walking to my hotel in Soi Nana from BTS, and a cute gal was walking beside me, we had an eye contact, talked a little on the way, learnt that she was working in Cascade, and I was like: "mission planned". I went to my room, showered, got dressed up...and off I was to Cascade. Entering the bar, my eyes searched for her, found her too.....and another friend of hers found me. Then us three sat at a table, a beer and two lady-drinks came by. I was thinking about barfining just the one...the one I met at the station. But the Girl 2 seemed a tad more interested. Having two hotties on both sides kinda damaged my reasoning, and could not shove the Girl 2 off. They were talking about having a threesome, having lez play for me, etc, you know. The reason that I wanted to take just one of them home wasn't just I was more interested in one, but at the same time, I did not have enough Bahts, had not exchanged enough. Yes, definitely that too. I once saw one toddler or 3 y.o. tops, begging near The Landmark or the Kasikorn Bank on the way to Nana BTS station, with no adult present. In my place, I'm used to adult beggars pulling around their babies with them to "the job", or gum selling-car windscreen cleaning-begging kids of 5-6 or so, but a solo toddler begging on the street is beyond me. The kid I saw at least seems to have a home of some sort...but you know, seeing a mamasan, a go-go girl, and an underage ST hotel worker girl in a short timespan got me thinking: "is this the 3 generation of the biz?"

On my second trip on October last year, what took my attention was, the number of Western women inside Nana Plaza bars. Had seen a few on the year before, November 2011 at beer bars on Soi Nana, but almost none inside. That time it was like, saw them at all nights in my short visiting time. Being touristy like Patpong perhaps? There were couples all around too. But of course going with your wife etc. is a completely different thing than this. Well, one other anectode last year. Had had a GG there at a bar and since the mamasan would not let her go to the client's hotel, I took her at the short time hotel inside NP. We got in the room, and the small room had a too strong air conditioner and it was freezing cold inside. I couldn't stand the cold, so I asked her if we could turn the A/C down. She called outside and a little girl, probably less than 10 with a remote in her hand came and turned down the A/C. I was petrified to see a girl that little to be working in that short time hotel with such surroundings. It was disturbing. Perhaps that even was one reason for my kinda early limping (luckily managed to get it up again).

Well, as a person from Istanbul, I can say that there IS a big scene. GGs are harder to come by on p4p scene. Almost all freelance streetwalkers are TS actually. They're mostly off from the definition of LB, but nonetheless.....but just as you have to be careful with freelancers in Pattaya or the front of Nana Plaza, you have to be careful with them too. There have been reports of theft, scamming and sometimes assault. That Club 1001 is said to be closed now. And the place named No-Name is a gay bar, where TS also frequent. Actually, this is the case with many gay bars. As for living in a conservative society, even the most un-homophobic friend/acquintance seeing me getting out of one of those places might be a lil' problematic for a straight-acting dude like me, who keeps his fascination with LB's secret as it comes, I never go places like that. Also many a TS bars in the scene can be scamming places, just as some "upstairs venues" in Patpong. You can have an outrageous bill for a few beers and nuts. Actually this is also the case with GG joints of the same setting too. So to speak, many TS girls have their own websites, some of them even can speak English and have English info on their sites. I don't think their English would be good, but you can expect some company. In Istanbul, most of them stay around Sisli area. There are also close to Bakirkoy, Findikzade areas, Beylikduzu at the far western Istanbul, also around Kadikoy in Asian side, and Kartal, the eastern end of Istanbul Other big Turkish cities Ankara and Izmir has plenty of gals too and many many of the big city TS girls flock to the southern beach resorts in summer.
