  8. They sure are, but because its damn hot here in old Europe. A photo from today. This should get most lockdowners cringe, but to be honest this type of crowd isn't very good. Honestly, its like covid-19 never happened here except they are killing the live entertainment industry. We can fly, cruises , packed shops and restaurants but no concerts or live venues are allowed with more than 50 people. I have a few musician friends and they are desperate. Yes.
  9. Ah, Farrah Fawcett. Edit: Had to check. Not even close.

    Well said, Tel.
  11. I have seen this new thing with punters buying rounds, lady drinks, ringing bell online and have to say its one of the saddest thing Ive seen during this flu pandemic. It's almost as sad as that video from Tree Town a couple months ago. I get the girls and bars are struggling, but seriously? I can almost hear the infamous slogan from a few years ago: "Its for chaaaaarity!"
  12. Haha, yeah don't you dare come here. We're dropping like flies still, and.... we don't wear masks!
  13. I thought they had exterminated the virus and closed the country down? That didn't work then?
  14. If a quarantine is required its not worth it to me.

Ecuador navy surveils large Chinese fishing fleet near Galapagos https://www.yahoo.com/news/ecuador-navy-surveils-large-chinese-150445597.html ABOARD ECUADOREAN NAVY AIRCRAFT (Reuters) - Ecuador's navy is conducting surveillance of a large Chinese fishing fleet that is operating near the protected waters of the Galapagos Islands, amid concerns about the environmental impact of fishing in the area of the ecologically sensitive islands. The navy conducted a patrol mission on Friday that included a flyover of the region where some 260 hulking vessels are fishing, as well as reconnaissance by military patrol ships. Images taken as part of the flyover, which included journalists, showed that at least one of the vessels appeared to be ageing and in need of maintenance. The fishing fleet has since 2017 been arriving in the summer months and fishing just outside the Galapagos territorial waters, drawn by marine species such as the endangered hammerhead shark.
