  1. Marhdi sounds as though you would feel at home in Johannesburg South Africa....sure doesn't sound like LOS
  2. There a few bars in Pattaya where the LB's say they are not allowed to give their numbers out...........but where there is a will there is a way not failed so far although I have normally bought them a drink or 2.............. Not sure why I get their numbers never used them yet.......unless it's to help another BM out!
  3. Good news!Mouth Moy Bar almost has it's own toilet now! A shop directly opposite has opened up as a ฿5 ablution facility plenty of toilets and even a few showers....... Only problem is that Mouth Moy have lost space they used to hijack late at night by setting up tables and chairs there......would make sense to let them still do this as we all know once the seal is broken it's a never ending procession to the bathroom specially on those big Leo's which I think are ฿80 now.
  4. Was with 6 Bm;s last night and 2 of them who spend a lot of time here are considering going elsewhere if the curfew does not end very soon..........1 says he has had the best time ever because of it .............1 goes home tomorrow and the other 2 are involved so it makes little difference...........33% going elsewhere certainly ominous sign for the tourist industry...Bangkok must be in dire straights!
  5. Archaic to say the least............almost slavery or is it just another way found to screw more money out of the falang?
  6. 7pm ..........hmmmmm most Saphon stations back on ,,,,notably CNN is not.......
  7. Well Done.good to see some bars showing initiative in a difficult situation....I see CIB in Bangkok also put on their Facebook they will be open 13:00 to 23:00 not sure how they manage that one..........
  8. Will this be enforced and by whom.no sign of military in Pattaya. Should cuddle up with a LB by 10 pm to be safe........ahhhhhh welll sorta safe
  9. About 10 days ago my GF went out with friends and came home about 5.15 am with a whole load of food.......so breakfast was a feast and she asked me how much I thought each bag of food cost......now I have a good idea of the prices and said 45 Baht...... She proudly announced that it was only 20 Baht and she bought it just around the corner.Naturally I told her it was because she is Thai and a Falang would pay at least 45 Baht. The nitty gritty is that it is a typical Thai "restaurant/food stall" that opens at about 4.30 am and by 8 am is sold out. We go there regularly and even on my own I pay 20 Baht a meal...... a good sized packet of rice enough for the 2 of us is 10 Baht so we generally buy 3 assorted meals ( all have been good quality and delicious) and a bag of Rice which we cannot finish in one sitting .........total 70 Baht. It is situated in 3rd Road between Chaloem Phrakiat Alleys 10 and 8 fairly near Pattaya Klang.See Map Red/Orange Pin. My advice would be to go there between 5 am and 7 am you will have a wide selection to choose from.........Aroy!
  10. Funny you should come up with this topic today.........just last night before meeting you guys I was chatting to a friend who only does GG's ............and my words to him about Noey were: When I look at her I keep on saying to myself "How the F**k can she be a boy." BB it would be great if you could send any pics you took last night of her to me.......specially the one with her and Juney as I have always been a fan of Juney's and find Noey even more attractive......butt then I am biased at the moment.
  11. BB sure beats the 220 Baht for 1 San Miguel at Dave Club......and to add insult to injury went there on the only night (Wednesday) there was not a LB show...........needless to say it was 1 drink and outta there
  12. Thanks xyzzy and 360 sure can't get lost now! Have wandered through that complex a few times......my Laydar must have been malfunctioning because I never spotted any LB's......in fact last time a str8 friend and I had a beer at the first bar in the centre and I effectively pissed a GG off when I asked her if she was a LB....
  13. Nope I meant Ninja Bar in LK Metro itself......a door or 2 away from Billabong from the Soi Diana side.Nice decor ..upmarket. 360 Where is New Plaza?Sounds like a good bet.......
  14. LK Metro Ninja Bar has 3 LB's.........1 stunner,,,,,,,1 really skinny.........and 1 who my GF refers to as the one with "Big Milk". Noodys bar is down to 1 LB,,,,oh and the previous info I had given about the owner being a LB proved to be incorrect. The owners are Noody a GG and her Falang BF, Soi Diana New Orn bars...... about 5 Lb's. The Beer Bar Complex with Nong Bar in it......not sure how many in Nong Bar none have ever caught my eye. Pussy Bar - Open again after closing for the installation of a new roof.......no sign up yet but the full contingent of Laos girls are back and really worth a visit.......probably 6 Lb's. Interestingly there is a very pretty post-op there but she is off limits for bar fining as her very butch Tomboy GF owns the place. Dickin Bar has 1 tall skinny LB who had me spellbound when dancing........so sexy.......was great in the room very versatile :)
  15. I agree pdogg it refers to the 15 or 30 day entry stamps and I suppose the in/out border runs were really just abusing the system. However it had become big business and it's a no win situation financially for operators whose living now depended on it and the Thai Governments coffers. It would appear that further restrictions iro people doing the same thing but by air will come into force on 12 August 2014. Right now I have a friend with an American passport who went to Phnom Penh by land and has continued onto Vietnam.so will probably be out of Thailand for 7-10 days, will he be allowed back in??? How long would you have to be out of the country in order for them to consider giving you a 15/30 day entry stamp? If you went out via land and re-enter by air before 12 August will you get in? Generally going to be a bit of a F**k up and the luck of the draw. Cambodia certainly is a different scenario with business visas also fairly easy to obtain I believe..know of any jobs going there??? But I do love the Thai LB's...............
  16. Breaking News on Thai Visa Forum as follows: BANGKOK: -- From today, foreign nationals residing in Thailand will no longer be able to exit and then re-enter the kingdom via a land border crossing in order to gain another 30 or 15 day stay in Thailand. Thaivisa has been in contact with the Immigration Bureau who confirm the new regulation starts from today Saturday May 10, 2014. This latest news follows reports from earlier in the week of an Immigration crackdown at the land border checkpoint in Ranong. Non-Immigrant Visa or Tourist visa holders with remaining entries on their visa can exit and enter Thailand as before. However, these new measures are targeting foreign visitors without a visa who are regularly entering and exiting the kingdom every 15 or 30 days as a way of extending their stay in Thailand. From today visitors can only enter into Thailand via a land border once, after that they will be refused entry to the Kingdom and are advised to fly out and return with a visa obtained from a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in a neighbouring country or overseas. The Immigration Bureau has also confirmed to Thaivisa.com that further restrictions are to be enforced from August 12, 2014. It is understood that the new regulation is to prohibit back-to-back border runners who stay for an extended time in the country without a proper visa from a Consulate or Embassy abroad or an extension of stay granted by the Immigration Bureau in Thailand. With regards to the new restrictions on land border crossing, which as mentioned above are effective as of today, a number of Thaivisa members have confirmed to us that these restrictions are being enforced at the Mae Sai border crossing in Chiang Rai province, with some members commenting they are stranded at the border unable to enter Thailand. The only visa run I have done is when my double entry visa tourist visa reached 90 days I flew to Phnom Phen and back. But my impression is that this new law is going to play havoc with visa runs via land being big business for Travel Agents,Taxi and Mini Bus operators and of course people like many of our BM;s........what are your thoughts and advice?
  17. Put like that....yeah shocking .............butt man it was good .............let me know if you want her number SS although you have been around the scene a lot longer than me and have probably done a few monks and didn't even know......ignorance is bliss
  18. Very interesting....there is a very attractive LB who works in a LB bar the Soi Buakhao area who also became ordained last year . Because her hair is different to most when chatting I asked if she wore a wig and why.She did not hesitate to show me pics of herself before ordination, having her haircut and shaved, and as a monk. Although I did not bar fine her that night I have subsequently done so and she is so beautiful now I had no problem eradicating the images of her as a monk in my mind.
  19. That's an understatement..........absolutely over the top Ugly old bitches en masse.......it was the first bar I went to and quickly finished my beer ..........told them I would not be back again seems that will now definately come to fruition. No surprise it's gone for a "ball of Chalk." pdogg is the pic below the place that has closed Candy Lounge?
  20. It seems that a lot of the bars including beer bars pay a salary (3 or 4000 baht a month) but the bar will then expect the girls to be there at fixed times often 12 hour shifts,........have customers buy them a minimum amount of ladydrinks for the month (a figure of 100 has been bandied about)and have a minimum amount of barfines...........should they not meet these criteria their salary is reduced . In the ideal world that farm fresh girl just arrived from Isaan would be given a training course in English and how to coerce customers into buying ladydrinks and barfines.Unfortunately this does not happen and they are probably given some tips by more experienced girls if they lucky.......ultimately the new girl is competition in a very competitive world. Thai culture does not cater for subtleties and it is not unusual for the girls to say things to you that in your home country would be considered rude or insulting ie You pom pui (fat) but there is no malice in these comments. If I am going to spend time chatting to a girl I always buy them a ladydrink but what used to annoy me is when they ask you to buy their friend a drink or the "friends" ie all the other girls in the bar, come and ask you to buy them a drink because they are friends, It no longer annoys me because I simply say no.
  21. pdogg I am almost envious.......you right I did make a typo was Loco...nice pub pretty girls but never saw a LB there the one time I went.......if you go to Ben's Bar give my "love" to Keo...........if you like trying micro brewreys Munich at the opposite end to the river on 258 Street...........they also have some good specials.
  22. I got lucky in March Cambodia Angkor Air had a special on ฿5355 ($172)return including taxes Suvarnabhumi. Normally book online but a cute GG travel agent I have dealt with found this bargain and also arranged the Bell Bus so I was more than happy to pay her ฿300 service charge.
  23. I am sure you right BB they had it going on 18 and 19.....when I popped in there was a bit of foam about but to much of a party at about 10 pm probably a bit early. Not having seen much of Songkran on the 18th I landed up walking from Big C 2nd Road via Soi 6/1 down Beach Road to PBG,then Lita's.......Action Street and Noodys LK Metro obviously got wet but perhaps the German Tower of Beer at Beer Fest Restaurant had something to me enjoying the experience. As a result my over night companion and I picked up a water pistol Saturday afternoon and wandered through the mayhem in Soi Buakhou ...2nd Road and Beach Road with a break at PBG to dry out, clean up, have a big Tiger Draft, plate of french fries and then off to Beach Road it was really good to be able fire back when attacked, although I gave up trying to take on the fire engine helping to soak everyone. Dare I say it...... I thoroughly enjoyed Songkran loads of happy people, loads of sexy bodies on view.loads of beer and music...what's a bit of water between friends........butt being my first probably was a huge advantage.
  24. Whilst it does not make sense to me that bars do not take every opportunity possible to take advantage of very powerful free niche advertising,I do feel that it is a loss to the forum as well. Whilst knowing very little about how these sites make their money my impression is that quite a lot of revenue can be generated via business's paying for advertising to websites with large volumes of traffic/visitors. The Forum should play a large role in attracting visitors but will only do so with an ongoing range of topics and for newbies those bar threads are invaluable when they plan their first trip to LOS.
  25. OK I have been out of the action but wandering between 3rd Road and LK Metro at 11 pm it's staggering how little traffic and how few people are about....sure is not good for the bars
