Sunday night It was a relief to open the bar again after another enforced closure due to the local election. (Can't believe they reelected the most corrupt mayor in history! But that's another story). Welcome back Beer, returning after a few weeks at home. As usual she got a bit ahead of herself. i caught her outside chatting with some lurking cunt who was trying to get 'phone numbers. Eventually he agreed to pay the barfine for Beer. She took his 1,000 baht note to the cashier, by which time i was at the cash desk. I took the money and gave her just 250 change. when she looked at it quizically, i reminded her that it was costing him a beer and a ladydrink, as well as the barfine. I still dont know if that will have come from her fee, or an extra cost to the lurker. And i don't care.

Having a venue like C&D in Pattaya would be fantastic, but I think Jimbo would rather choke on his marmalade first

I was in two minds whether to Fly Air Asia from BKK to Phuket, thankfully I stuck to my original plan and booked with Bangkok Air (U-Tapao - HKT return) seeing as Im based in Pattaya. Sure I could have saved myself 2500 baht doing it the Air Asia way, but considering the time I would have have wasted is it really worth it?
