You're fortunate to have both the time and resources to spend such a long time in Southeast Asia.I hope you have some photos from Hat Patong and will share them along with a few more comments. I can't imagine you spent your time there hibernating with Coca Cola without exploring and forming your own impressions. One more comment about Patong : Before Patong's curfew in 2015, I had seen the place as the place to hook up ladyboys and flirt with one on a LT basis while visiting the islands. This should be like a "golden rule" : don't invite a Pattaya (or Bangkok) ladyboy to Patong and don't invite a Patong ladyboy to Pattaya.     I understand what you mean. I often have a similar experience when I watch our national beauty pageant each year. I browse through pictures in TV magazines, but rarely watch the actual televised show, except maybe for the last half hour. I'm not familiar with the specific stages of selection that take place during the program. I do know that The initial wave of selection, where fewer than half of the candidates are chosen, is determined several days prior to the commencement of the show. Contestants undergo a month-long training on a tropical island and are evaluated not only on their beauty, but also on their intellectual level and their ability to deliver a smart speech in front of the audience. The second round is determined by their performance during the show, and then the jury and popular votes decide the top six (1st to 5th runner-up) and the winner. Whenever there is a discrepancy between the popular vote and the jury's decision, it creates a buzz in the media and press for a few weeks. By the way, I've shared the video of MIQVN2023 in this post. If you skip to the 42:28 mark, you'll see the challenging catwalk test involving a descent down an extremely steep staircase. Daisy mentioned that it's nearly impossible to accomplish, so those who can successfully complete it may advance to the final round.

    I second you. Criticism weren't deleted, so better keep the photos. But I enjoyed the way you shared the main events related to MIQ 2023.I didn't have enough time to watch each video in its entirety, so my opinion is based on partial views. I didn't quite grasp the criteria the jury used to eliminate contestants I liked, but that's a usual sentiment after watching a beauty contest. Thanks again for sharing. DM posts photos showing legs, body and face and that depct very well the feminity of his ladyboys. Personally, I would only criticize him for one point. He posted his TR too rapidly. I had guessed he was probably in BKK, but I found it hard to have to read all his posts added in a couple of days. This might explain why you had the feeling everybody was focusing on DM's TR. Last but not least, DM gave an impression of sincerity. He shared his personal feelings without delving into overly complex concepts or far-fetched stories. This is why every BM could imagine he can do the same. I believe this is the fundamentals of aTR : share experience and use it help others meet the same ladyboys.

I had thought miss Netherland could be on the podium as they would probably decided need to give a farang a runner up. I never imagined Melony Munro would be on th epodium either.     The last review post reminds me of my trips to Thailand, especially Pattaya (between 2015 and 2017). These are the few words I could catch. It appears to me that she mixed Spanish and Portuguese. Nonetheless, the way she pronounced "confortável" is typical of Brazilian Portuguese and wouldn't be accepted in Portugal. What she says is confirmed by the YouTube subtitles when the translator speaks.

    Yes she did. She said she's from Brazil and she's going to speak Portuguese during the interview. When listening to her speaking Spanish in the video she made first, she has no Spanish accent and it's clear she's reading a text that she doesn't really understand. When she speaks "Portuguese", she speaks with Brazilian accent.
