Like at their Oscars red carpet namesake, the Romscars annual celebrations are not over with the attribution of the awards. They continue well into the night afterwards with the nominees and winners parading in posh parties for their fans to see them at their triumphant best. This thread seeks to lighten up the cause célèbre from this year’s Romscars dual stagings by shifting the spotlights to the victory tour that followed the awards. It started in Thailand and will continue into the Philippines and highlights of it will be presented here. You can think of it as a TR, but I preferer to call it a non-TR because it will be intermittent and from the shadows. Unlike other threads I’ve posted, I don’t have a clear script for it in mind and will have to improv as I go along. The idea is to feature glimpses of excellence related to the Romscars nominees and winners. I remind everyone The Romscars Club has a separate thread for rantings where I’ve allowed visitors to take unanswered blows at me and pursue their grievances with each other, but TRs are best accomplished as flame free endeavors and I will use the Club’s hoover on threadfucking posts. So let’s get started: It should now be apparent to any BM who visited the Club's blockbuster rant thread yesterday that I am in Pattaya on R&R. This is not meant to be a blow-by-blow TR (I was never good at those!) but a selection of quick snapshots from this trip. For example: yesterday in said rant thread I gave one such live snapshot of the New Bar and another one of my sleepover outcome. Here is another one of Sweethearts shortly before: I went there to see if Cindy was up for a boom-boom reunion (she is one of my all time favorites) but the bar was (still?) deserted at 10:30 PM so I decided to go somewhere else. The lights inside were on and from Soi Buakhao outside I could see the whole bar, and I saw that Cindy was not there. Nor any other ladyboys. Only Jimbo lonesomely at the helm. I am also in America this year and will be cooking a steak dinner and stepping out at 23.00 to the neighborhood bar for an improv reveillon. It's morning in America and I woke up to see that this thread took a turn that I did not expect or want. All I can say without adding gas to the fire is that I was very upset when I was banned from LBP as I felt a deep sense of injustice and revolt at the circumstances. That Board was the only outlet I had for a very important but secret part of my life and it was a support community of sorts. When you loose that and are humiliated in front of the whole community, it hurts. I can tell other BMs here are feeling the same way, including the 2 mods who posted and who may not have been "humiliated" but are often undermined. I could make what I see as constructive recommendations going forward but it might come across as an irritant to them, so this is not the time. This business with Emmy and Katty Bar is far more REAL LIFE than any of my own shenanigans. Again: this is not a good time to say how I think it should be handled. But EMPATHY on all sides would appear to be in order. As for ladyboys having access to the other Board, it's inevitable! When in Thailand, I access Advanced Members on LBP through the account of a popular BM who shared it with a very popular ladyboy. That BM was obviously trying to gain favor with the ladyboy who was trying to gain favor with me. This to say that it's to be expected that human relations are far more important than Board rule compliance. Regarding soi 4 Jomtien, I have not steered clear of it only because of Mona, but since stupid crap happened online at LBP, I have been going to great pains to scout it and hide inside if certain BMs are there. @P&G In all fairness, said bar owner took quite a few indirect hits here along with his other 3 mod associates, and he HAS to feel free to post whatever he wants in response. Or else this thread would be just like in Pyongyang. I confess that I am not entirely comfortable with the direction this thread is taking. Sardonic references to "Pyongyang" and "Politburos" in the context of my introduction to the Board would seem fitting for me to make since most of you already know me from the other Board as the BM who was humiliated and ostracized there and hence the chip I carry on my shoulder. But I do not wish for this to be a thread for former Pyongyang BMs in exile to plot against the regime. On the other hand, what has been said so far here pales in comparison to the flaming and slander they allow over there, including in character assassination threads they have going behind targeted-BMs backs in their Advanced Members section. At least in this thread, they can read what is being said about them and that is why it is paramount they have the full discretion to defend themselves, unlike what they allow over there. I’ll go easy on the condiments… North Korea is the last place on earth with a totalitarian regime demanding total conformity to the status quo and adulation of the leadership, so “Pyongyang” seemed to me a clever metaphor for that other ladyboy Board that having become completely web-dominant in terms of online traffic has now turned to dominating their BMs' online attitudes. But it was not always like that. My Hitler videos and cartoons are proof that there used to be some tolerance for irreverence. They did not reward me with Advanced Membership, but at least they let me post with minimal censorship and would step in if my routine flamings by the Board’s apparatchiks (aka "The Clique") got out of hand. But it all changed last year (2018) with the appointment of the toupee-crowned moderator who teamed up with the brutish one already there to jointly declaw the up-until-then number one mod while the Board’s top dog himself just sat there powerless to do anything. And that’s when the purges started: One by one, the irreverent BMs are being banned and I was one of them. Others have gone silent or else! And the apparatchiks doubled up their licking of mods' asses just in case. In typical despotical style, Pyongyang's Board rules are now being enforced selectively (TRs no-flaming for example) and they diabolically frame BMs marked for banning with the assistance of a rabid mod-equivalent BM who viciously offends others so they react to defend themselves, at which point the regular mods step in to sadistically punish the offended BMs for "baiting" (like how the Jews brought the gas chambers on themselves). That’s exactly what happened to me when the most vicious possible rumour was initiated by one of the mods and repeated to exhaustion by the said rabid mod-equivalent until I was banned for "baiting" in the form of a post about Ernest Hemingway!!! I made in response. In the same totalitarian North Korea vein, snitching has become a virtue over there with BMs who rat or flame dissent getting the attention and the +1s from the leadership. Finally, censorship (called "hoovering" in Pyongyang-speak) is the new currency of the realm with a good example being my last TR (interrupted by my banning) that was expunged soviet-style from the record because everybody could see how it had been viciously threadfucked by the mod-equivalent and the toupee clad supermod, and how excellent BMs had come to my defense (colywob, snoop dawg, jack russell; I'll say THEIR names), which would have evidenced how moderation had done the exact opposite of what their no-flaming job should be and was from the outset of that TR setting the stage to ban me. "The Clique", as I see it, is a fluid concept applying to a chore group of mongers who know each other well from the field (BKK and Patts). It does not mean you are all elitists. For ex: fenton is a total rogue but he is well known in the Pattaya circuit and until 2015 (?) was a pillar of said Clique before it became a bad word (let's not discuss here why). Snoop Dawg (my idol!) also is Clique, but he has nothing to do with the creeps Tbaggings was diplomatic enough not to name. Same same for Kwan and Streetwalker well respected by all for their unique contributions to the ladyboy world. You should feel flattered that I named you in such EXCELLENT company. In contrast, an in-the-shadows monger like me cannot be Clique because I am not personally known by many on the field... I agree with TB that they have a Rule-Britannia-to-the-World mindframe at management level where only Her Majesty's subjects are admitted. Once I posted to give them common wisdom advice that, for online Boards in general, the best practice is for moderation to usefully reflect the diversity of BMembership and, of course, my post was promptly censored and I was issued a points warning by the limey wannabe from Down Under, who is technically still a British subject and underscores as diverse as it will ever get over there. But I refuse to generalize, since at BMembership level there you find some great open-minded Brits, even among The Clique. I am talking about regular guys like Snoop Dawg, fenton, duke, Streetwalker and the virtuosissimo K and his siamese twin Double-K (as in Kevin Keegan) to name but a few...

@admins: I saw you changed the club leader's "Delete" Option into a "Hide" option. I tested it on one of your posts and it worked, but afterwards I can NOT see the hidden post or any record of it, nor any "Unhide" option for me. So hopefully you admins can see it and, if necessary, restore posts hidden by club leaders ... PLUS if I can make a small suggestion: you may usefully want to grant club leaders a self "edit" option on their own club posts that does not expire or at least with a longer expiration date than the Board's default. I am saying this because I wanted to polish up the Romscars introductory post but no longer can.
