  2. I'm very much a loner, and searched Google for a site I liked (this is it). I've gained a lot from comments and advice from other members, and visit the site regularly. So, a big "thank you" all round. I must add that I've enjoyed my visits to the Dark Side Bar.

  3. Back in 2010 I heard from PD that he was participating in mounting a new ladyboy forum. A few of us were fed up with the old TLF so the idea of a new forum was attractive. I became a member immediately upon its launch and have been part of it ever since. I do not post elsewhere.

  5. I've seen them but I declined to comment. I thought it would all blow over as just one of those things. Lefty, there are people here who love you. Don't take things so much to heart. Forums need a bit of understanding & cooperation. And sometime if something is posted that I don't agree with, I just move on. Nothing is worth getting upset about. And Mr K hasn't shown any bias against you that I have seen. Give him the benefit of the doubt. Please.

  6. Totally right on Willie. I could not have said it better but agree with every word! Some of my favorite quotes about religion: "I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek Church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of... Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my own part, I disbelieve them all" ~ Thomas Paine “Religion has ever filled the mind of man with darkness, and kept him in ignorance of his real duties and true interests. It is only by dispelling the clouds and phantoms of Religion, that we shall discover Truth, Reason, and Morality. Religion diverts us from the causes of evils, and from the remedies which nature prescribes; far from curing, it only aggravates, multiplies, and perpetuates them” ~ Baron D’Holbach "Man is a Religious Animal. He is the only Religious Animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion - several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbour as himself and cuts his throat if his theology isn't straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother's path to happiness and heaven." - Mark Twain "They came with a Bible and their religion, stole our land, crushed our spirit and now tell us we should be thankful to the 'Lord' for being saved".- Chief Pontiac, Ottawa Nation "The study of theology, as it stands in Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on nothing; it proceeds by no authorities; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing and admits of no conclusion."-- Thomas Paine "The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable , but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. For me the Jewish religion like all others is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions". - Albert Einstein , letter to Eric Gutkind, Jan 3 , 1954 "Organised religion is violent, irrational, intolerant, allied to racism, tribalism, and bigotry, invested in ignorance and hostile to free inquiry, contemptuous of women and coercive toward children." — Christopher Hitchens

  7. I was looking for info on Cambodia LB scene, and I ran into here from a Google Search. There are other sites too, but so far, this is the place where I could find the most info. And I became a member to see the pictures you guys took in Sihanoukville (man, that was some party)

  8. If you can find it in reruns, I'd suggest you try and watch it. It was a really good documentary, although nothing really eye-opening; the church hides its pedophiles from law enforcement, covers up their own serious crimes, moves its scumbag priests from one parish to another so they can rape young boys some more, and follows some weird form of 'omerta' like the mafia; yawwwwn, already knew this shit, move along, nothing new to see here. What it did teach me is that the cover-up of the abuse goes all the way up to the current pope, that ratzinger asshole, who was in charge of that department while the last scumbag was in there [and that one is on his way to becoming a saint, as if that means something]. It also shows us that 50% - yes, half - of all priests have sex at some point in their life, despite a solemn vow to their invisible friend to remain celibate throughout their lives. Every one of those screwballs who rape kids and the people who cover it up should be in prison...and would certainly be going to hell if there were such a place.

  9. As I'm from a Catholic upbringing(now non practicing of course) I thoroughly enjoy anything that shows Religion in its true light. The cover up goes right to the top actually-the present Pope was in charge of the cover up when he was the last pope's right hand man. Hopefully this will be another nail in the coffin of organized Religion, because its not only Catholicism that abuses young children, the Haredi Jews also systematically cover up sexual abuse among their own community....and Hinduism has "holy men" who actively sell children into prostitutuon......As for the Muslims-theyre the greatest threat to western civilization since the Plague, a medieval death cult founded by a paedophile.....f*** all religion, and forgive me in advance, but I dont care who I offended with this post....

  10. I know many if not most of you here know how to get La Bamba; some of you spend, uh ..,. a *lot* of time here. ... *cough, cough Ciobha cough cough* Then there's that 4:17 guy; he's like a bad rash -- can't get rid of him. But for those of you new to the scene or otherwise haven't ventured to Sin-on-Sea just yet, I've updated the "Where's La Bamba" page on the website with new photos and more detailed info. ...
