In order to avoid off-topic in the Kinbg's corner thread, I decided to open this new thread to answer TR LV's post.

Are you using WordPress? If you're using WordPress, I don't think it's difficult to manage your database with PHP or SQL. Of course, you need PHP and SQL knowledge, and WordPress code modification skills.

In the case of my site, since it is a free server service, it is a rule that PHP and SQL server-side programming languages cannot be used. Therefore, my site uses local Java Script (Json format) to implement the database.
My database can be created with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel) and converted to a text database (Json) with Visual Basic (macro) and saved. However, it is easier for me to edit directly with a text editor, so I manage the following files directly.
https://lbnh.x.fc2.com/js/localdata.js
I don't think it's very helpful, but I hope it's a catalyst for your ideas.

thank you.

I don't use Wordpress. I actually chose blogger since this blog solution offers the possiblity to post adult content that will be protected given anyone willing to read the blog will have to read a warning message. Another possibility that I used is that I can filter access to the blog. If you don't have an approved Google account, you can't read it.

Creating data base is my main weakness when using PC.  I have never created a data base of any kind even in my PC. So, I keep datas in text files, photo files ( *.png use less space), word processing and excel for other data). My volume of data has already reached more than 7 Go .
I also stored information in a forum I created for Vietnamese mongers. Vietnamese mongers seldom comment nor do they add information. I keep on feeding this forum though since it's a good back up.
I also stored photos in what I call my website. a0b1c1d2e3f5g8 . Although I use a free forum website, it's not a forum since I prohibited anyone to post. members of LBR can ask for a membership then register and they can acceess either my Vietnamese ladyboys photos collection or my trip reports or both.

I don't want to use these free forum websites as forums for 2 main reasons. Firstly, I don't want to spend too much time moderating and administering a forum. Second, these forums can't be restricted to people over 18. Editors restricted them to users over 13, so if they find links to porn websites or pics with nudity, they are likely to delete the forum at once. This happened to me as I was testing an editor a couple of years ago. As I had copied a few posts with links to shemale porn, I din't find the forum on tyhe next day. The editor gave me only one reason : the editor may terminate without notice at his sole discretion without providing any reason. This is why I keep my blog.

The blog is almost up to date. I have projects to change pages. Since it's not a data base, I need a lot of time that I don't have now to do it.

I would like to thank Pulci Gorgon for launching a new thread.

First, I have to apologize to Pulci Gorgon. Your first comment to me was a question about managing your database. So I misunderstood that you were a little experienced in computer programming and web design (CSS, HTML, Javascript). And I seem to have given you an irrelevant reply using jargon. really sorry.

The meaning of "database" used by computer programmers and web designers is different from that of "database" used by the general public. I want to express the difference in English, but I can't express it well because English is not my native language. (I'm writing this comment very hard using Google Translate.)

Well, I tried to sort out your question.
1. You are using a web service that is already formatted as a website, such as FORUMOTION.COM.
2. You create a thread on the web service for each person or purpose, and you upload a large amount of information such as images and stories to that thread.
3. You are wondering how to organize and manage the large amount of information such as images and experiences.
4. You are also worried about how to limit viewers (age limit, etc.)

I understand your question as above. I'm sorry if I misunderstood. However, if my understanding is correct, the simple answer to your question is "I'm sorry. I don't know." If I can answer your question, I haven't launched a completely original site. As long as you are using an existing web service, there are limits to that web service, so there are some inflexible points. Suffice it to say, I think it is necessary to organize the data you want to upload on your hard disk drive (HDD or SSD etc ..) as much as possible. I don't think I can give you any advice on how to organize your HDD data, as it will be a personal matter.

If I misunderstand your question again, I'm really sorry.

thank you.

I am so sorry that I could not reply to your expectations.
I think managing a large number of images and videos is hard work. But no matter what "Tool" you use, the last thing you need is your effort and guts.
I hope you will play an active role in the future.

thank you.
