bumblebee Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Made it along to Blue Chilli on Street 178 last night to see how it compares to the one in Rainbow bar. It bills itself as a drag show, and that's basically it in a nutshell. There are five performers, who do a turn up on the bar. There were no LBs in the audience like one finds in Rainbow some nights. Anchor is $1.50 a can, no draft beer here. The show kicks off at 11 pm, so one could catch Rainbow first between 10 - 11 pm, then make the short stroll from 172 to 178 (the next street)in about 4 minutes. Lets have a look at the performers. But can be a bit uncomfortable if getting unwanted attention from the macho types who assume that since you're there that you may want them.
