Soi 6 Bar Searches For Ladyboy Thief

On Saturday a CCTV video was posted on Facebook which reportedly showed a Ladyboy stealing money from behind the counter of a Beer Bar in Soi 6 off Pattaya Beach Road.

 

Despite reporting the crime to Pattaya Police on 11th February, the person responsible has yet to be found. The alleged theft took place at 3.45am according to the owner of the One Direction Bar & Guesthouse, Khun Lamon aged 39.

 

She told us that a foreign guest who was staying above the bar invited a Ladyboy to his room for some late-night fun and 1 hour later the Ladyboy left but decided to make a detour behind the counter of the bar where he is alleged to have taken 100 Baht from a Tip Jar and 10,000 Baht from a box.

 

 

It took the suspect only 2 minutes to complete the crime and it was the bar cleaner who first alerted the bar owner who reported the incident to Police, who have yet to catch the person responsible.

I usually stay at guesthouses that have a business on the ground floor that is closed at night and no security guard. I always walk my "date" out the front door at night just to make sure something like this does not happen.
