I've been using a new strategy to acquire Frequent Flyer Miles and have picked up something like 8 new credit cards in the past year in order to earn FF Miles - take their "introductory offer", spend the minimum needed to earn the introductory bonus miles, then get a new card and start again. Using this strategy, I've booked first class roundtrip airfare over the next 8 months from Seattle to Tokyo, Seattle to Fiji, Fiji to Sydney, Sydney to Hong Kong to LA and back to Seattle, and Seattle to NYC.
