Nick down in C&D years back is one exception to the rule, being an Aussie I believe and if one considered Corner Bar a sorta LB venue in its day then Crabby would be another exception. So what about other nationalities, English speaking for the most part, why don't they they get involved in the running of ladyboy bars, too sensible perhaps? But Europeans are more comfortable trying to work in another country perhaps because working in other countries is more common for Euros.
