Info ladyboys Pattaya and Phnom Penh

Hi friends, I'm new here and I hope you can reply me, please. Even if everybody has subjective impressions, but I'd like to ask some questions:

I don't know Cambodia nor Pattaya and I'd like to get a girlfriend experince with some ladyboys. I will have 12 days of holiday. If you have been in both Pattaya and Phnom Penh, can you tell me the differences between Pattaya ladyboys and Phnom Penh ladyboys?

I mean:

more friendly (I  like it a lot)
better sex
more versatile ladyboys (top and bottom)
better prices for ST and LT (overnight).

I'd like to stay 12 days in Pattaya or in Phnom Penh.

The percentage of LBs in Cambo is much smaller than in Pattaya. Not that you can't find LBs but they are not everywhere like Pattaya. You will likely find more natural LBs (no silicon tits) unless they have been sucessful enough at making $$$ or have a sponser to go to Thailand for the operation. You need to know where to find LBs in PP (Pontoon Disco freelancers, Candy Bar and a few more scattered at various hostess bars/places). Not that you can not find some nice LBs in PP but you will have to make a effort to find them as opposed to Pattaya where there are a lot of bars that are LB only bars and LBs are everywhere. I find the hunting interest but if one expects to just walk into bars with lots of hot LBs it just isn't going to happen. I could easily spend 10 days in PP but I would probably mix LBs, GGs and no date nights. 10 days might be a long time if you are hunting only LBs, especially if you butterfly, and if you have a certain style of LBs you like to like to pick.

 

When I first started going to PP in 2008 all the hostess bars were US$20 ST/$30 LT and bar fine $5. A couple of years ago all the bars on the main bar streets (street 104/136) seem to have gone to $30/$40 at least for old farts like me. A few GGs let me walk away instead of dropping to $25 from $30 so it seemed to me the sisterhood must have decided to hold the line at $30 ST. You can bargain the LBs down a bit below $30 as they seem in less demand. But most bar girls will ask $50 to start to which I simply answer "No" without any other explanation. The Japanese/Koreans will often pay the $50 as they seem willing to spend more just like in Thailand. When I was in PP last month, for the first time in two years, the bar fines had gone up to $10 (on 104/136).

 

LBs are much less accepted in Cambo that Thailand. If you escort LBs around town you will draw more attention then in Pattaya. That bothers some people more than others. Most of my friends "on the game**" visit PP once or twice just to try a new place and then never return. It appeals to a much smaller section of guys. If you have never been to Thailand or Cambodia and have no experience, I would go to Pattaya and save Cambo for another time.

Yes of course there are, all flavours exist and many are very delicious, IMO

You may not think you're getting much in the way of responses to the questions you posed, the problem is that the answers can be very subjective.

This doesn't mean people are unwilling to help but it sounds like you haven't been to the relevant parts of SE Asia before so you need to make your own choice as to where you start based on existing forum content and then it's easier to focus on specifics once you have some ideas from your own experiences.

Simply taking the quantity of posts relating to Thailand vs. Cambodia then it's clear that most people prefer Thailand by a country mile. This is due to the fact that it is an absolute piece of cake to achieve your ladyboy dreams in Thailand, whereas Cambodia requires more effort as the options are less. In my own opinion I like both for different reasons but very much like the slower pace and less in-your-face approach in Cambodia. Pattaya can wear you down fast if you let it.

My advice would be to take the plunge and make a choice (probably Pattaya) and go from there. Once on the ground far more can be relayed over a few beers and using a little shoe leather rather than on a forum.

I spend many months in both so I'd personally be very happy to do that in either country, if I'm available, if required.

I like your reply because you have gained experience in both countries. If my question don't disturb you, I'd like to ask another question: when do you go to Pattaya and when to Phnom Penh? In other words: in your opinion, what differences do you feel about these two countries? Thanks a lot.

As it happens I leave on the 6th February after a 3 month stay in Pattaya and fly to Phnom Penh and will stay there for a month, maybe include their coastal resort too, Sihanoukville. After that I'll be back in Pattaya for 2 months although it depends if I feel like being around for songkran in April (which I hate). I've spent 7 months in Cambodia and 7 months in Thailand during the last two years.

 

Alot depends on how long you plan to visit, so 12 days it would better to go where your targets are easier to locate. 

 

Pattaya: Believe me, you will be falling over ladyboys almost anywhere you go, shops, the streets, some restaurants and that's just in the day time. Night times are a feast for the senses, especially if you haven't been before. There's plenty to see and do and most likely some forum guys around to meet up with and you would quickly get into the vibe and swing of the place. Your views can change the longer you spend in any city so if you have a two week trip to Pattaya from farangland then you will most likely love it and you will return home with a major yearning to return.

 

Phnom Penh or anywhere else in Cambodia may not be enough if you only have around two weeks. Personally I think the country requires more time as it can be a waiting game until you know where to go. Many guys I know have only been over there (from Thailand) on a long weekend as a visa run or a tester and that isn't nearly enough time to appreciate the place, unless you're lucky. I think a certain type of person takes a shine to Cambodia, it is not for everyone. It is like Thailand was 20+ years ago without the full acceptance of transgendered people.

 

Personally I have little or no interest in any species other than ladyboys/femboys and in Pattaya they are plentiful, with silicone or without. In Cambodia ladyboys are thinner on the ground but they are there, but ones with silicone are a rare sight. If they have silicon it's likely a sign they're well on the game.

 

In a nutshell I love Cambodia, but I miss Thailand sometimes for the farang company, hence my 3 month stay over the high season.

I spent my first trip to southeast asia in cambo about 15 months ago, and did my first trip to Thailand about two months,ago. I am glad I did cambo first, but then I spent 25 days just in Cambodia between siem reap, PP, Snookyville, and Koh Rong island. I agree with Dixon...you need more than two Weeks to appreciate cambo because of its slow,pace. Also, IM not a butterfly, so I found a great girl and just spent my time with her.

In Pattaya, I think you can be done in 12 days...you can literally have 3 different beautiful LBs everyday in Pattaya if you want, or find one nice one and travel to an island like koh Chang to get away from the Las Vegas feel of Pattaya.

Go to cambo if your primary interest is history...Akghor wat, genocide mseum, etc., and to see what S.E.Asia was like 30 years ago with a passing interest in ladyboys, but if your mainpurpose is a ton of ladyboys and ease of access go to pattaya.
