JaiDee Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 When we are in Thailand, it's quite common to hoard all the 20 and 100 baht notes we can get our hands on, right? Good for tips, paying for pork skewers, bribes for traffic cops, etc.......especially on a place like Koh Phangan, where anyone outside of the 7/11 looks at you like you are an alien if you actually try and hand them a 1000 baht note. So when I come back to the states I get stuck in that habit, especially after spending half the year in Asia.....home for 3 months now and still notice I am automatically saving all my 1's, 5's and 10's, despite the fact that anyone can break a 20, and in fact look at you with disdain when you hand over more than a few singles.
