For me it will always be AMY. She started it all for me years ago. She was responsible for pulling me over the line.
Earlier this year I saw her in person for the first time on Walking Street. I was stunned. I swear my heart stopped, my mouth got dry, and my legs weak. She was so, so, so beautiful and up until now only a fantasy. But there she was in the flesh sitting alone in a bar, sipping a diet coke, and gazing out at the commoners passing by on the street. I don't think it would have been humanly possible for anyone to be more excited about anything than I was at that moment.
She seemed quite pleased with herself beaming with confidence. She also appeared to be bored. I toyed with the idea of saying hello but could not muster up the courage. So I entered the bar and sat behind her on a stool just to observe this icon. Like a queen she sat on her throne as men approached and tried to charm her. She dismissed them all.
I must have sat and watched her for an hour like a silly fool. Needless to say she never noticed the older, plump, balding stalker sitting behind her. Why would she have, hahahaha!!! Nonetheless I enjoyed it all and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Something I wish I could share with the grandchildren. :D
