  1. You can buy a US Sim card on E-bay, however be sure to check that the service provider can provide international SMS at low or free rates. I have a Canadian sim card that allows free international SMS, including Thailand, so I can verify my bank transactions. You will also need to top up your card periodically to keep it valid - so you need to check out how they do that. Some service providers will let you top up via credit card, some via a voucher have a relative or a friend in the US do this for you and you can pay them back later. My Canadian provider gives a 1 year expiry on the purchase of a $100 CAD voucher (which works out ok as I visit Canada twice a year) Most Canadian banks want you to have a Canadian number for the 2 step verification via SMS. My bank use to offer e-mail verification, but due to increasing e-mail fraud, changed to sms or voice call verification as the 2nd step for the final code.
  2. Here's the English subtitled Miss Tiffany's The Reality Season 2, Episode 1 - which will select the final 15 for the August 31 final evening.
  3. Medallion signatures according to the Medallion Signature website are offered at select US, Canadian, UK and Bahamian banks, so no Thai banks offer it. A few Canadian Banks offer internet banking online wire transfers - CIBC and Royal Bank of Canada. However they require an SMS to your Canadian number for verification (actually a good idea to prevent fraud). Fortunately my Canadian provider offers free international SMS. I am not sure US banks offer that - however you still get stung on the wire transfer fees on both sides - sending and receiving. For now CIBC has a world wide money transfer with no processing fee, but they shave a bit on the exchange rate so it works out about the same. I have a Bangkok Bank saving account that I was able to open when I used a tourist visa and a friend's local Thai address. I have to keep it above a certain minimum to avoid a monthly service fee (I think about 7000 Baht).
  4. Doubtful it will ever go down. This charge was established by a major Thailand banking association that all the Thai based banks belong to.
  5. Having flown out of Hamad International Airport several times, and Changi Airport a few times, there's no way that HIA can beat out Changi. Changi has been number 1 a number of times and is consistently in the top 5.
  6. Amazing how fast time seems to go by! The 2018 Miss Tiffany Contest is launched again, with the final being on Aug 31/18, at the TIffany Theatre in Pattaya. Here's a video of the announcement of the final 30, selected from over 80 eager applicants held at Central World in Bangkok, on May 29, 2018. My Thai girlfriend says that each year these "new" generation lbs are more beautiful and passable than ever due to hormone use at an early age, as well as better plastic surgery techniques. As per my post from last year - some of these contestants are pre-op, some are post-op, and likely very few are p4p (not full time anyway), as there is screening done of the contestants. There will also be the "reality" show concept again this year, which should be interesting to follow.
  7. Good to see you posting petesie, I think Texasmac may have been directing his reply to duke007, who is a frequent user of Thai Friendly. TM to avoid confusion in the future, if you are replying to a specific forum member, you can either quote their post or the use the format "@Texasmac" so it is clear.
  8. Here's a video of crossdressing Kpop stars - just to give you some idea what the original group Pdogg posted might look like with long hair and makeup.
  9. TM, unfortunately for you she is postop - so maybe not your type? Anyway she is so gorgeous it might not matter!
  10. Here's another video with Nong Yoshi, Miss TIffany Universe 2017 doing her duty. You can see the guys are mesmerized when she drops in!
  11. Quite a contrast to the western femboi that was posted Really there is no comparison
  12. Archie - I did visit the Beverly Hills Club but only once as it was in my early years of lb hunting and was closed shortly afterwards. When I visited it was late afternoon, early evening, so not many staff were about. Unfortunately all that area was demolished and new developments have risen on the old site. No p4p lbs around there now except late at night with the occasional freelancers.
  13. Here's a video of the Thai draft day from last month from different areas around Thailand and some of the lbs who showed up.
  14. There's a good reason why most forum members are Thai lb fans, and this is one. A Thai femboi can usually pull it off (for some of us), but a western one usually cannot, with a few exceptions.
  15. Very subjective topic, but for me as a postop fan, it would have been King's Corner back in the old heydays of the early 2000's. They had some fantastic beauties back then, including a Miss Tiffany winner, and a number of former Miss Tiffany contestants. Unfortunately today, it is a shadow of what it was. Another bar I liked a lot back then was Guess Bar, when it was managed by Jay, in the original location on Sukumvit Road and also its move to the old Rajah Hotel Complex near NEP. While no postops worked there (except for one for a short period of time), the staff were not high pressure, and she had some beautiful ladies working there. Fah, Om, Eats and Poy, Guess Bar May 2009 this was at their 2nd location in the old Rajah Hotel complex. Promotional photo when Guess Bar first opened - Jay had a few of her friends model some of the outfits - I think only 1 of this group ended up working in the bar. For those with a good memory and have been into lbs for a long time, the girl on the left is Banana who was a star in Phuket, working in the old C&D even before the Jimbo days.
  16. Straps is a postop lb bar, although they deny it. I am not sure of the other one you mentioned. I commented about Straps a while ago in this post - very beautiful lbs there - probably the best looking staff of any bar in NEP, and possibly BKK, but very unfriendly pricing as it was an all in one 3600 Baht short time bar fine and lady package, using the short time hotel in NEP. If you wanted to take her off site, an extra 500 Baht.
  17. For all those Donald Trump supporters - how does this "Make America Great Again"?
  18. This is a strong argument that people who "bareback" are taking a risk bigger than they imagine. These new super-bugs resistant to most antibiotics are going to be a bigger threat than HIV. I've mentioned this a few times in the past, and this news can never be over reported.
  19. Here's a recent Youtube video of Check In Bar And one from this Songkran
  20. Pdoggg, I agree. Inner peace isn't always easy to find, and while he seems happy now, I think down the road that won't last. His appearance, mannerisms and speech are still very feminine, and while it might have been ok if he tried to live a gay lifestyle, the emphasis on Christianity won't allow for that. His childhood was also quite traumatic, and I feel that proper counseling may help more than religion. Regardless of all that, I hope true peace and happiness will come in the future. Maybe those Bible thumpers who were in Pattaya a few years ago crossed paths with Sabel! TX, yes, she is a beauty!
  21. We hear about these stories on occasion, there was a Thai lb Miss Tiffany 2009 winner, Nong Jazz who reverted to living as a man and became a monk, in the case of Mark Estephen religion specifically Christianity, has a major role. Filipina transgender beauty queen Sable Gonzales, Super Sireyna winner 2014 and Miss International Queen 2016 top 10 finalist is now living as Mark Estephen A video from her beauty queen days She did not have SRS, but still had a number of procedures done - plastic surgery on face, breast implants, etc.
  22. It was a very competitive field this year - I still think Nong Yoshi (Miss Thailand) was one of the most beautiful - but as mentioned it is rare for a country to win the title two years in a row (Thailand won last year). A number of comments on social media the contest was rigged, and also some comments that they didn't want the Brazil to have keep having strong showings - Marcela Ohio deservedly won in 2013 and Brazil has had strong showings a number of times in the top 10 and 3. Comments were that the translators did not do a good job for Miss Brazil and Miss Venezuela (who I also thought was quite lovely) when they had their impromptu questions. I was also impressed by Miss Mongolia, as she had one of the most impressive backgound stories.
  23. Yes Texasmac - and quite well filled out as well! Video from the final: 2nd runner up Miss Thailand, 1st runner up Miss Australia, MIQ 2018 Miss Vietnam.
