  1. Here is the story from Chanya - the postop lb partner of Wazza a Australian ex-pat who moved to Bangkok and has a Youtube channel. I have it queued to the time Chanya starts describing the story. They were in the general area at the time (Soi 5), and some of her friends were involved
  2. This is the lb that grabbed The Sith's attention. Certainly he has good taste. She is gorgeous!
  3. Here's the video of the finals night. I skipped over the first 20 minutes of advertising.
  4. This year will be the biggest and most extravagant contest for MTU, as they are marking the 25th anniversary. The finals night will be Sunday Feb 4, 2024 at the TIffany Theatre. Tickets are pricey, as are live streams pay per view, but the videos are also posted after the contest. This video is from the preliminary round yesterday. This year there are a lot of contestants from professional university studies. This year also had the highest number of applicants as it is the 25th anniversary. I know that very few board members are interested in these contests - but I think that you get a good idea of just how beautiful the Thai transgenders are now as compared to years ago. You can fast forward to the sections of interest I don't really have any favorite as they are all gorgeous Also note that there are pre-ops and post-ops in the competition, but their status is not publicized..
  5. The answer depends on you. Do you have plans to retire in LOS someday? Then the answer is yes. How many times do you plan on visiting the LOS a year? If several (3 or more), there are some benefits to have a Thai bank account. You get a Thai debit card which allows you to withdraw and make payments as long as you have funds in your account. By doing a wire transfer to your Thai bank account, you get better exchange rates - or you can bring your foreign currency, exchange it and deposit to your account when you arrive. If the answer to both of these is no - then it is not a good idea to open a Thai bank account.
  6. This is Neala a super popular Chinese TS - she has moved beyond the femboy stage and is postop now. She had a few videos posted on X-Hamster and A Shemale Tube while she was still preop. Was impressive to see her progress from femboy, to ladyboy, and now postop ladyboy. Not sure she is still in the p4p scene - if she is, she is doing it as a gg, and not as a postop lb.
  7. Cinderose thanks for the updates - I don't think a daily column is worth the effort things don't change that much every day. Orchid Massage - formerly Wii Massage/Lucky Massage? It was around that location for many years. Sad to hear that the ladyboys were just told to leave without much notice. Straps, now Stars was always trying to promote itself as a "gg bar". I know one of the lbs working there and she said the name changed as too many customers were reporting it was a postop lb bar. They do have some of the most gorgeous ladies on staff in NEP. Some are former Miss Tiffany contestants. There is another postop lb bar in the old Temptations spot - I believe it is called Wonderland. My girlfriend's friend is the owner/manager and they supposed have a beautiful lineup as well - they also try to advertise as a gg bar.
  8. Excellent opening post Saigon roamer! We have had information about Vietnam before, but from a different perspective. Interesting you feel that some of the Vietnamese lbs are jaw dropping. From some of the photos on the escort sites or dating sites, it seems that some of the photos are filtered/photoshopped, which is an increasing challenge for p4p customers. Ultimately I guess it depends on the budget you can afford. I have mentioned this in the past and will continue to on occasion, that p4p guys who expect the prices of 10-15 years ago are fantasizing - this will likely not happen again unless there is a worldwide deflationary situation. You know prices are going up in your home country, and certainly this is happening all over the world - so to expect the low prices of the past is unrealistic.
  9. Thanks for commenting Dan - I know beauty contests are not everyone's cup of tea. I chose these 2 contests as they are not major ones, like Miss Tiffany Universe or Super Sirenya for the Philippines. I am intrigued about your preference for the numbers - I guess the eyesight of the judges might not have been so good for the Filipino judges.
  10. Here are a couple of videos, one from last year of a Thailand lb swimsuit beauty contest and the other this year from the Philippines. Please comment on which one you prefer and why. First up the Thailand lbs - which was held in Pattaya. Next up are the Filipina lbs. Tondo is a district in Manila.
  11. Thanks for reporting, we don't hear much about Malaysia. Interesting to see some of the differences between now and 9 years ago. That is more than a lifetime for most P4p lb workers. I think you may have missed an opportunity with the cabaret lbs, as I think some of them would be willing to do p4p - but as you are on a budget, they may have asked outside of your limit. One of these days when travel permits, you need to visit China. I feel there could be a large number of p4p lbs there - but the limiting factor would be language. You would have to know Chinese, or if the new Samsung AI phones are available next year, they will be able to do real time translation during a phone call.
  12. Here is a video of the Miss International Queen 2023 Vietnam contest Final night. Unfortunately no English caption. What is interesting that it seems to be connected to Huong Giang Entertainment. I believe Huong Giang was the first Vietnamese Miss International Queen winner in 2018.
  13. This is a good French documentary posted in YouTube. Even though it is from 2011 a lot of the topics shown are still relevant today. Also note that Dr. Thep from Pratunam Polyclinic now has an anesthesiologist on hand for the operations. Turn on the captions for English translation.
  14. Here is a video posted about 8 months ago by Asian Tinder who was walking along Sukhumvit from Asoke to Nana. He asked a number of freelancers (including some ladyboys) prices for short time and long time. You need to keep in mind the inflation factor in Thailand is just like in your home country, the cost of everything has gone up - so don't expect prices of 500-1000 Baht for ST, unless they are in a desperate situation.
  15. @The-Sith your comments are accurate, but only with the rise of President Xi Jing Ping's rise to power. In the years before that the transgender scene was not repressed, and was accepted by the earlier governments, even allowing transgenders to legally change their sex on their official ids (if they were postop), and legally marry. I feel this led to the spread of acceptance of transgenders in China and think the total numbers in China could eventually surpass those in Thailand, if there is a change in government from Xi Jing Ping's clique.
  16. I get the feeling what you see in the photos is not what you will get when you visit Bon Bar. Good luck!
  17. I know this is an older thread, but I have an update to report. My Bangkok Bank customer service representative told me that 3 months ago a new law was passed the makes it mandatory any foreigner wishing to open a Thai bank account would require a residence visa. This only applies to new accounts. If you do have an existing Thai bank account and are a non-resident, be sure not to let it lapse, as you will need a residence visa to open a new one. Also this complicates things if you have any fixed deposit accounts, as you cannot change it without having a residence visa.
  18. Thanks for posting Dan! I believe she will be in the Miss Universe competition. It would be quite the achievement if she won Miss Universe as well.
  19. You're welcome PG. I don't expect that many forum members to be interested, but it is a contrast to the usual postings - and it is good to see how beautiful the contestants are, especially those from other countries in MIQ. Here is a YouTube video of a pageant fan and who follows and comments on all types of contests. His views are interesting and contrast from the judges' selection for the top places. I would say that Miss Tiffany and Miss International Queen are influenced by a lot of other factors besides how well the candidates perform. You can see that Netherlands is the first European MIQ winner, they usually don't give back to back winners to the same country (after Miss Thailand won so many early on). They have had South American MIQ winners (Brazil and Venezuela), Japan, USA (twice), Korea, Vietnam, Philippines (twice), and probably a few more I don't remember. For some reason the video doesn't embed correctly, so I am leaving it as a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOusjaruc5c&t=10s
  20. Thanks I've corrected that! For some reason I was thinking Norway when I typed that.
  21. That is a first time MIQ winner from Europe! Miss Netherlands was not one of my favorites, she did well! Congratulations on her win! Also a first MIQ China made it to the top 11 and Singapore into the top 6. P&G, you are seeing the results of having custom evening gowns and expert make up - each of the top 11 had custom made evening gowns, and of course professional make up.
  22. Thank you petesie, also glad you made a full recovery! Many forum members aren't too interested in beauty contests. The preliminary round was yesterday after 2:00 pm Thai time and the video is below, skip to 12:27 to avoid the advertising. The final will be live streamed (at a price from TicketMelon.com), and you can also watch free on a delayed basis starting at 10:40 pm Thai time on Thai Channel 3, or on the MIQ International Queen YouTube channel. Lots of beautiful contestants this year! Contestants must hold a passport from the country they are representing. For example, Miss Canada Adrian Reyes is a Filipina, but has a Canadian passport. Also contestants may be pre-op or post-op, but their status is not publicized for the contest.
  23. I am not a moderator here, my suggestion was because there has been an increasing amount of aggressive replies that has led to some forum members quitting. I suppose I should have been more specific to say no need to have aggressive debates about favorites. Everyone has an opinion, it is the style of expression of that opinion that determines if it is a positive contribution to the forum or not.
  24. A couple of more videos from MIQ - the first is the Thainess Fashion Show held at Autthaya (MIQ Contestants modeling Thai Fashion designer creations) The next one is the National Costume and Talent Quest - the points from these do not carry over into the finals night. https://www.youtube.com/live/GKIZHBIMvr0?feature=share&t=743 Note the video link above skips about 12 minutes of sponsors, which may be why it doesn't appear as a directly embedded video. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and each of us will have different favorites. No need to have a debate over your favorites!
