I definatly agree that the Darkside is an excellent choice when in Bkk, far from the usual hassel around NEP and the mundane lay out... Not only is the (owner) host Great but also the general atmospher the place has about it will draw you back. The only thing that ate me up was that i made there only in my last couple of days Oh well, more and better days to come for sure ...

OK guys i'm having my stay extended by 7 days done by the visa 2 Britain agent in the immigration office compound jommtien here's the deal as im reading the business card: - seven days; 2,500 - 30 days : 8,500 - 60 days: 12,500 - 90 days: 15,500 The catch is this what ever visa you choose is only done ONCE and NO MORE extensions !!! Hence you need to leave and come back but i'm not sure if you leave via land you can do this process again.... IMHO I would like to add to the posts, everyone has disregarded what is going on in the western hemisphere economically AS well AS the middle east. The west is covering up the financial folly (No thanks to the market in wall street) and all the mayhem along with it. The middle east, is trying to find its tail in ALL THAT THE WEST CALLS AN ARAB SPRING!??? Asia is still a safe haven and oddly some parts of Africa. NOW, With regards to both parties the Le Chatelier principle should flow, which would be to let the people decide if all the time they waited was worth while. BUT for us we only ask that we live in their country @ peace and harmony. Shah
