Lago Atitlan, called the most beautiful lake in the world by the writer Huxley. Has 3 volcanoes surrounding it. Magical place, especially when there is a thunderstorm. Enjoy your travels Lance. You heading east to Tikal?

Spot on BB, Up helly aa it is in the Shetland islands. Great idea for a festival, think one of the Irish viking cities should copy this.

Not sure how popular are short breaks in Europe on here, but if you are looking for a short break in sunny climes in the spring/autumn and a bit of a dalliance with the lb's, the Costa Del Sol might be an option. Was over there recently, to recharge the batteries a little and catch some natural vitamin D. After a couple of days relaxing i started to get a tweek in the trouser department and a hankering for those ladies with that something extra. You are gone too long mate... Inishmore is in Galway! Skellig Michael in County Kerry. The monks were there until the Vikings came marauding, they smashed all the boats before they left which was nice of them

Right country JD, its Valencia, they built this mad city of arts and science costing €1 billion. Its some place but all those buildings are designed by Santiago Caltrava who ended up pocketing a nice 100 million for his troubles and the city nearly bankrupt
