Alas it was no orgy, Lyly was my date for the evening, I shouted her and a few of her lb mates for a night out at Classic, the Heart and a couple of other places. I have zero recollection of coming home and I awoke the next morning and they were just all there, luckily my room had two beds. Coming down those stairs I was still drunk as a skunk and what DC's shots don't capture is the lb in the short(er) skirt taking a tumble down the bottom of the stairs. It was fine theatre for the restaurant patrons across the street below dixon cox's lodgings. I took the whole crew over to Sorya mall for lunch at the Pizza Company and my God what a scene that was. Man my memory is shot, I remember you sitting with Bobo next door and seeing you guys at Classic but not the window incident. I do however recall that there were a couple of loner type weirdos sitting in our vicinity, I guess it was one of them. I normally have a keen eye too.........what was in that bag below the Nescafe can in your fourth pic?

-J- my memory fails me here I think, I often spend a fair bit of time around Raksmey Burger as I've known the owner there for many years and he is a mate, but I don't remember anyone walking through a window. I may well have been there at the time but I generally arrive at Street 51 late, after pissing up around town first.....and the memories gets a bit sketchy. Were you the guy wIth Bobo?

Thanks for sharing the clip J, I saw this girl in Classic about a month ago but she wasn't performing in the show. I've seen a few photos of her before and she never really aroused my interest, but after watching the clip, next time I'm in PP I may have to track her down.

Golden House is definitely lb friendly, I stayed there last week, even had 3 lbs stay over one night, the hotel had no issue with this.

I visited the Darkside on consecutive nights a couple of weeks ago and I have ton concur with the positive comments of previous posters. The bar has a pleasant ambience with comfortable couches, a friendly team of ladyboys, decent music played at normal volume and probably the nicest toilet of any ladyboy bar in Thailand, sometimes it's just the little thIngs that make all the difference. I bar fined Off who was good fun back in the room. Keep up the good work Fatcat.

I visited the Darkside last night for the first time with a fellow monger and we were very impressed for all the reasons mentioned above by pdog, I will be returning tonight.

I spent a few nights in Pontoon earlier this month and there were shitloads of ladyboys about, easily the best spot In PP to pull ladyboys. As for the Golden Sorya mall there is a small (gay) bar with white interior and white couches up the Pontoon end of the corridor that runs the length of the place, I noticed a few familiar ladyboy faces milling around here at times. Dixon Cox and I also found a couple of new faces off the beaten track.

It's there if you want it, though if you are a westerner accustomed to hydro grown pot, well it's hardly worth the bother.

I was in PP for the Water Festival about 5 years ago. The crowds are intense. My brother lived in an apartment block on a normally quiet street in the diplomatic quarter, I remember the view from his balcony of a seething mass of people below. I also remember it taking fucking forever to get anywhere due to the crowds. I'm glad I experienced it once but would probably avoid it in future.

I just noticed this story in the PP Post http://www.phnompenh...cale-venue.html An interesting venture and good luck to them. I may have to spend more time in Siem Reap than Phnom Penh in future visits to Cambodia. They claim to have a troupe of 70 ladyboys which has probably thinned out the ladyboy population of Phnom Penh quite substantially! Dixon Cox, you are our man on the ground over there at the moment, have you heard much about this new cabaret?

I can recommend the California2 guest house which is just around the corner from the Pickled Parrot on Sisowath Quay. I stayed there in Febuary, a nice owner, good food, 24 hr bar downstairs and ladyboy friendly. I had been a regular at the Flamingo Hotel for years however California2 has won me over.

Now I think about it we were heckled by tuk-tuk drivers at Angkor Wat, I knew they were talking about us by their repeated use of the word katoey, I just let it slide.

Thanks DC, I am sure we will cross paths one day. I am not sure about my next trip. I will almost certainly be heading over in Jan/Feb of next year however a short trip perhaps around Sept/Oct this year may be possible. I suspect we will have a few mutual friends amongst PP's small ladyboy community. How long will you be in Cambodia?

I have taken a Thai ladyboy to Cambodia on two occasions and had no problems whatsoever. The only annoyance is the constant staring but I've well and truly gotten used to that in Cambodia. The only time my ladyboy companion was annoyed was when a massage lady refused to massage her tits.
