  1. Another, should be, easy one.
  2. For peeps without a Kindle but a tablet or smartphone, just install any e-book reader (moon reader recommended on Android devices) and convert e-book files to the format you need, usually epub, with Calibre http://calibre-ebook.com/download on your computer.
  3. A few clues. It's an opera house and it was completed in 2007. Another pic from the same city.
  4. It's a free for all Tomcat, but it's not Prague. Definitely kind of Eastern European though. I'll guess wildly with Salzburg in Austria.
  5. Flamingoes, Camargue, France?
  6. Looks like I'll have to make this very simple. ''To gain the minimum conditions for the development of agriculture, they had to rough-hew a part of the dense laurel forest and to construct a large number of canals, since in some parts of the island there was excess water, while in others water was scarce.'' OK. That's three clues.
  7. Oh come on, you can do better than that. Nice little water channel made from concrete, with iron railing, not string, to stop people falling down the mountain. India?
  8. All right, no more stones. What country is this?
  9. Time flies! It must be 14 years ago I checked into the Miami Hotel on Sukh soi 13, and nervously made way to Nana and Casanova, later venturing to Clinton Plaza. I think my second trip to Thailand, but the one when I chose to bite the pillow, repeatedly, before making my way to Koh Chang, which in those day was pretty quiet and largely undeveloped. For anyone who knows Koh Chang as it is now, try and picture Lonely Beach with literally no one else at all there. The road from the ferry was only paved as far as White Sands the rest was just dirt track. Those were the days.
  10. Close enough Willie. The Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
  11. Wrong bonny lad. It's not a million miles from BB-land.
