Saw a great South American band playing this afternoon. No matter how good a Morlam show is, there is just something special about Latin music If only we could combine Thai LBs getting down to Latin sounds, all would be perfect. Again it was a reminder that if it wasn't for the LBs I'd probably be in South America right now or planning my next trip there.

Gotta agree that kissing is one of the big turn ons. However even the slightest negative taste/smell and I am out of there, just cannot do it. Have no idea how anyone could kiss someone with smoker's rotten breath, neither for love nor money..

I think he is working himself to exhaustion with his new job. I got an email recently saying he might try to join up with us all come November. The list of guys in town then just keeps getting longer.

I always enjoyed the stroll over to the old place. Take in a fine meal in Dolce Vita and then the show at 10 pm in Rainbow, magic.

Was over in Galway for a few hours today with the students to see the Volvo boats race boats, and saw some rain there, near enough to Mayo but not the real deal.

Looks like the poxy moist summer is back with a vengeance. Some of you guys over in Blighty seem to be getting quite a soaking judging by the news tonight.

This quote from my mate Ninewives last year sums up the feeling of meeting fellow LB lovers pretty well I reckon.

Hopefully the Olympics see a rise in tourism here. Apparently some countries who have visas to enter the UK during the period can use them to enter Ireland also. A waiver to attract Far Eastern tourists in the main I believe while they are in the area. No exciting Pride Parades this weekend to look forward to alas.

Anybody got any good plans for the weekend? Any news from PP Pdogg?

Thanks Ken, I am flattered by your above comment and I know what you mean. You meet guys in this scene, particularly the ones you know from their threads and immediately there is a connection that is hard to explain. A look in the eyes, a meeting of minds and a knowing smile that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

The forums are a bit like the Higgs boson that's all over the news today, they are invisible to the outside world, but are the magic glue that holds most of us LB lovers together. I remember that night in Ezy Willie, Lefty told me he had met a good guy who was newish to the scene and that I should meet you. When I was in Phnom Penh earlier in the year, it was through the forums that guys passing through town got in touch with me, total strangers who shared the same sexual tastes, and all quality guys. Not sure I would be as eager to meet strangers if they only shared a common interested in GGs with me, some of those guys are fooking weirdos lol.

Good one Willie, thank god attitudes have changed for the most part in the West since then. Plenty more still to be done all the same.

Also it felt good to be out on some streets with the old camera, got me in the mood for Los again later in the year. As I mentioned during the thread, we all need to be reminded from time to time how good we really have it in Los and surrounding countries.

We manage to find an exit and join the crowds listening to speech makers and some singing. We scan the faces and spot a few bits and bobs, but not what we are looking for. We did see one passable indigenous femboy/twink who caused a bit of localised blood pressure down below for both of us. Anyway time is pushing on, so Jim suggests taking a walk around the city centre and head out to my home town. As we pass the security barriers and leave the concert area I notice something in white behind a wall. As we approach things begin to look more and more promising with each footstep and suddenly there she is, Molly Malone with a schlong, on the phone to some friend. I ask her if she is from the PIs and she nods yes while continuing with her phone call. She seems a bit busy, so Jim and I decide to walk a bit and come back and find her when she is finished her call. Wrong choice and we fail to find her again.

Not being men for giving up, we decide on one last throw of the dice and head to the concert on Merrion Square on the off chance that maybe we have missed something in passing. As we stroll through Merrion Park, trying to find the exit to the gathering, a figure appears on a slab of rock, and informs us we are going in the wrong direction. "Oscar" we reply " we know, we have been going that way for years", he smiles knowingly to himself and tells us to enjoy the trip.

Hold on gents, we are not finished our quest yet. I will finish this in the next hour or so. Ciobha is was a bit too gay for you, not your cup of tea at all.

GGs indeed alas. We did spot one creature of interest at one stage, but she vanished behind a van before we got a chance to snap her.

We watch it a while more, before deciding to following it across to city in the hope of stumbling upon something of interesting watching it from the sidelines.

The parade is the second biggest in the country after, not surprisingly the St. Paddy's Day one and this is the first one I have ever managed to attend. Although it is quite colourful, as one would expect, there is just no sign of any LBs of Asian extraction.
