  1. These are the final photos of rural life from Udon Thani area and Chiang Mai I took them with a Fuji S2980, not used it for years, tried in September but the batteries last for no time at all. I even forgot how to use it, so need to re-read the manual. Not sure what to do about the batteries, they do not recharge, but it takes a nice photo and has zoom and panoramic. Will see what i can do with a view to taking on next visit, you never know I might become the new Bumblebee. The girls might trust an old papa more and take more off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This time I will list them so you know what they are Pond behind village house next three all rice growing near Udon the staple crop of the area Building a village house livestock working the crops and farm houses small town gathering Tea plantation - the mountains in Chiang Rai area A dreaded Thai toilet - I refuse to use them Edited just now by annat Edited just now by annat
  2. Part I Hua Hin I love the street markets, the colour, the food, the clothes and the people. So many working to keep living, many only just surviving, especially in the North and rural area. Remember no help if you are old or unemployed or disabled. No money, no back up and no health service (as such) . Not what we would accepted, so in Thailand, the old, the disabled and the unemployed rely on their family and their children for support. Many of the Ladyboys work in P4P to get money, usually for their mums and send it back to the village. Without this support many families would fall apart. Why, I ask myself, is it so often the Ladyboy in the family who leaves homes and go to work in the sex industry. Seems, most of the daughters (though many enter P4P) get married and start a family. The boys get jobs, get married and have their own families and also their wife’s family to look after. So it falls on the Ladyboy in the family group to help and support their mums. It is also quiet often the Ladyboy who looks after the sisters children if she has a job. May had a brother (sadly killed on the roads in 2014) and a sister. Both married, with one child, so May the ladyboy supported mother and father. Palmmy had a sister who left with her mother to move to the South 700km to Trang. Leaving her to look after a disabled grandmother, who finished off unable to walk. She also looked after her sister’s daughter when she left. When it was her mother’s duty to look after her own mother. It all worked well till we broke up and Palmmy went off to Pucket. Either gran died or she has been left to fend for herself. So these photo show the markets and way of life the Thais undertake to make things work. Of course some do very well and are quiet rich, while many are poor poor and just on the breadline. Hau Hin is a reasonably well off area, it is where the Old King used to summer. It is a modern town with an older seaside original village. Well woth a visit, but take your partner with you. 8. Bloody right Grunt Uranus is a strange almost changeling type of creature we know little about him other than, he is from UK, went to publice school, has manners, is far travelled, was in a profession far away from mine. At one time he was a gluton and a poor dresser,. Though some of his side kicks are of dubious backgrounds. Poor old Roger loved by some, hated by others but always the gentleman,
  9. no wonder she is a pretty little thing, she looked like a girl when she was a boy.
  10. Warning, for those who are only interested in sex, filth and nudity – turn away. This is a piece on Thai cultural life. Same start as the wedding and Northern Thailand village life, did not see any point in re-writing it. I have just found some photos I took back in 2013 with my camera. I had finished with May and was introduced by Snoop Dog to a girl called Nalee, she was not in P4P and lived in Udon Thani. We got on well and became close friends. I decided to take a long holiday in the summer (Good God during the cricket season) and came for 6 weeks. While were like brother and sister, I really had not recovered from May and did notfind myself sexually attracted to Nalee. But we did get on well and enjoyed each others company. I flew up to Udon and met Nalee, we stayed a week in the Centara Hotel, flew To Ko Samui for a weeks (where Nalee used to work), then back to Udon and then for a week up to Chiang Mai. So these photo cover many of the major Temples in Udon Thani, Samui and up in Chiang Mai. To understand Thai life, you must also understand the Thai belief in religion and family. The Temples of Thailand are a major part of the Country's heritage. An understanding of the Temples is a way into the heart of Thai society & life! Quote Edit
  11. I was lucky Jimmy, saw all type. First girls May lived in a total slum, Nalee was in the lower middle and Palmmy lived in a very good village rich beacuse of the sugar cane. It was quiet, 10km to town but a vibrant and active town but alas no cinema and limited eating options. I did the house up and bought a car, has computer and wifi so was able to do work and watch films. I walked a bit and the locals accepted me even though I was with the local ladyboy. I seriously thought about moving there in 2017 but my diabetes stopped me when I found out how much one phial of my injection cost 6000bht. Also medical insurance was in the realms os 100000+ a year Think in the end would have been bored to tears and gone totally mad like many farang who live in the country. will post some photos of May's and Palmmy's villages in due course once I finish with these posts, say a couple of weeks Glad you still alive and wearing your cargo, time you got one of your avatars keep well and happy this was Palmy's house the bedroom i put on and the bathroom
  12. NORTHERN THAI VILLAGE LIFE PART II Thanks for kind words, I thought the photos were interesting and brought back some good memories So here is some more from the same areas. If you not been South or North or East or West in Thailand, then you should try. Car hire is easy (Thai Rental Cars are competitive), they drive on same side as us Brits (so very confusing for you Yanks) and have the most dangerous roads in the world. I worl on the idea "That idiot is not going to.." and expect them to do exactly that! The hotels are cheap, the scenery out of this world, especially in the Mountains and Tea plantations around Chiang Mai. The Mekong river has some lovely places like Nong Khai and Khiang Chan. The people out in the country really do make you believe in the Land of Smiles. I have been all over Issan and the west, but little in south and only Korat and Kalasin to the east. Much of my recent time has been spent about 10km from Chum Phae, which is 110km from Khon Kaen. Hope you enjoy Quote Edit

They show housing, rural agriculture, the people, the way of life and views many who remain in Pattaya and Bangkok never see - the real Thailand Quote Edit
  14. Here is the report of my three weeks at the Boom. I had a good time and was very well looked after by Josh & Poo. The room was large, well furnished with fridge, TV (never switched it on), kettle, couch, large bed (usual Thai mattress hard/hard), safe, Wifi and balcony. Nice small bathroom with separate shower stall. Though was on 2nd floor (English) so four various flights of steps, which I did manage without difficulty. Cleaned everyday, with two new towels and two bottles of water. The bed changed every two days. Everything you could ask for and at a most reasonable price. So each night, I had to fight my way through a group of lovely ladies to get to the stairs to go to bed. A hard and difficult task, especially as Nok Yung came back my second week and Nat was there all time. I have to admit that I had difficulty sleeping through the noise from, not the Boom, but nearby bars, a problem all along Soi Buakhao. The constant Boom Boom of the base was annoying, but after a week I got use to it and could get to sleep. When I booked the bar, I had expected to be in fighting fettle, but alas this was not the case. The Doctor advised me, no swimming especially in the sea, do not walk in the heat and no sex; then asked me where I was going. I said Thailand and he bust out laughing and said enjoy the Temples. I actually did as he instructed, so no great trysts to report in the room. I enjoyed the bar’s birthday party. It was good to see Old Lover again. Sadly I left the day of his birthday bash. I did enjoy seeing and TALKING to the girls, sadly Nanny and Mei did not come back from Xmas break or have they left and moved on Overall I would certainly say, if you looking to stay in the heart of the action and not worried about the beat of the music, then the Boom is the place. After all it is next to the Hideaway which serves, what must be, one of the best breakfasts in town. Many thanks to Josh & Poo and the girls for making my holiday - one of the best I have had. Nok Yung Nat Oy The Boom and the room
  15. will bow to your supeior knowledge i am just old fat and knackered

  17. THAI WEDDING Warning, for those who are only interested in sex, filth and nudity – turn away. This is a piece on Thai cultural life. While were like brother and sister, I really had not recovered from may or found myself sexually attracted to Nalee. But we did get on well and enjoyed each others company. I flew up to Udon and met Nalee we stayed a week in the Centara Hotel, flew To Ko Samui for a weeks (where Nalee used to work), then back to Udon and then for a week up to Chiang Mai. Finally returning to Udon. During that period a friend of Nalee’s ,who lived about 10km from her village, which was itself 60 km to the north east of Udon. Had invited her to her wedding and extended an invitation to me. We stayed at one of those resorts in a chalet. I had never been to a Thai wedding and this one was amazing. The night before, she had to go and make flowers chains, so I hung around and watched the mad activity, with 20 girls threading beautiful flowers along strings. The next morning up at 5.00 to arrive at wedding for 0630. The road the bride lived on was blocked off to traffic and was festooned with tents, tables and chairs. The locals were already, by 0700, hard at the Thai Whiskey and beer. The house was decorated with large portraits of the couple and after the Monks had done their service, the girls went in pairs and stood along the drive holding the flower garlands across the path. The bride stayed in her house with her family, the groom then gathered his followers and carrying large trays bearing gifts and accompanied by music made his way to his bride. The girls holding the chains would only let him pass, if he gave them money (typically Thai) and as he approached each chain he gave each girl an enveloped with money in it. Finally he made the house and presented the gifts and dowry he had to the bride and her family, she accepted and a short ceremony took place. As usual the guests came in and approached the couple, putting their money gifts into a large pot and then putting a Buddah rope on the hand of which of the couple they represented. Then the food and drinking began in earnest and most guests where well drunk by 11.00. The couple where from good class families and were very rich by Thai standards, they both were professionals working in Bangkok. I have tried to lay the photos in the order of the day. The brides dress and grooms suit were exquisite and must have cost a fortune. I was the only farang and Nalee and two of her friends where the only on speaking English, as well as the bride and groom. It was a wonderful event, which I shall always remember. If you lot like this, I will follow it up with Village Life, Fauna/Agriculture/Flowers, Thai Life/Temples (for Jimbo) I will see what you think first three photo are of Nalee
  18. thanks for info and suggestions appreciated
  19. WHAT IS THE CHANCE ? So on my previous post, I put a photo of a ladyboy giving me a foot massage. While she was doing this another came up, put her phone in my face with a photo of me. I wondered where she got it. Now as you know I broke up with Palmmy January 2019, after 5 years. It turned out this was Pui, who was Palmmy's roomate in Pattaya, I spent time with her and David her Australian BF (they broke up in 2018) when in Patts 3 years ago. So nothing great, but what is the chance of going into a massage parlour, far end of Buakhao and finding your ex-partner's roomate. If I had been looking for her, would I ever have found her. She tells me Palmmy has left the village and returned to work in Phuket. I felt rather sad, as I had hoped I had set her up for good with the farm and market in her village. So, she would never have to work again, but then then the best laid palns of mice and men as they say. Pui says Palmm's problem was she drank a lot everyday, so that explained a few things. Just goes to show the old English saying "More people see Tom Fool, than Tom Fool sees". Wish i had taken a note of the name of the parlour, as at least 2 LB work there. The one in this first photo, did promise me some fun and a great bj if I wanted, but in line with this trip the spectre of hospital raised its ugly head and I declined. Photos (never have worked out how caption the actual photo anyone help me?) Ladyboy masseur (not down loading) Pui January 2020 (not down loading) Palmmy & Pui 2017 Ps the shop is past Nikkys on that side of Soi Baukhao, next to a bar before the road bends to the left and the Dania/Action Street all the staff wear the yellow Tshirts pss I have no problem on LBP so why a problem on here, bit of a waste of time if you trying to report and cannot downloads portaits, site programme must be lacking something
  20. thanks for info, sadly I am not on fartbook - always thought it far too dangerous in my previous life - thinking of joining maybe I will have to resize them but that is a fag
  21. Oh Yes great to meet you, I have thank you - you made me look very young!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. yes the one was not from my phone but sent by line to me the 3 portraits I tried all failed but had on trouble on LBP
  23. I have been back 8 days. Arrived back late Tuesday night 14th, drove the 300km back home, nearly did not make it, as I kept nodding off while driving. In the end opened the window and put music on loud, made it back 01.20, about 24 hours from when I got up in Thailand. Picked up my beloved cat from the cattery, on the Wednesday, £240 wow. Then she came down ill and I have spent the last 5 days taking her to various vets and trying to get her better. The jury is still out on that, not sure how she is. Good job I got insurance, as so far the bill is £550. This was not what I expected and has left me out of sync, which is the reason why I have not been up to either looking at Forum or posting. To be honest, just cannot be bothered to take up the cudgel and take on the silly posting of some of the members. Well considering my health, I had a nice time, spent too much money. Enjoyed the Parties and the Bars, missed swimming and sex not necessarily in that order. I will put two further reports one on The Boom, another on Tjs and finally a round up with more photos, some general points Had great service from Nams Taxis on time, decent driving and no problems. Bangkok Limousine delivered this time, sent a different lad to September, the service was very efficient. Though I beginning to think landing at about 0600, it is not the busiest of time and maybe I will take a gamble and save the money next time Thai Airways was much better this time, two great seat, 100$ each, made the flight more enjoyable. The window seat on the way back allowed me to look at the coastal islands of Burma, Afgan mountains and the old Russian Empire, some wonderful views. The food was much better and the entertainment was very good. Heathrow Airport landed at 1900 and was in my car by 2000, very well organised through immigration, case collection and customs. Easy lift and straight on the bus to car park. Pattaya was so quiet, it was Xmas/New Year, but often when I called in a bar there was only me and one or two others. The only exceptions to this was Tjs and whenever a party was called and even then they were not in my opinion rammed. Just did not seem to be the tourists about. Thank heavens I never invested in a bar I much enjoyed my visits to Katty Bar, worth it for what Teya told me she would like to do to me. It is a relaxing place to drink and talk. Tjs was great (see my report when I file it), Sweethearts and Jimbo, well what can one say – Mr Grumpy was a real pleasure to spend time with. The Boom was fun at times and Josh & Poo are fine hosts. New & Peter looked after me well. Gucci is very sexy and the line-up most impressive Thanks to Herberth for the party at Delirious. Had two great night with Iain and Nam in Why Not I also visited Sensations, Hunny Bunny & 69 QUESTION why can I load landscapes on this forum and not portraits? So a few photos of various bars, the streets and social history Bars Tree Town Bars Hidelberg Guest House & Restaurant Nakula, three doors from TJs Mum and baby Fireworks New Year at New Bar Street Food Oh some fine Memories Central Mall Santa's little helpers Paeng & Tong Sensations Kungs Hot Dogs Gucci/Snow at New Bar Back streets around Soi Chaiphum
  24.
