I just read this. There's a first for everything. How about this:

A 38-year-old Scottish woman had been dealing with some ongoing mysterious health symptoms--she'd lost a lot of weight, felt shaky and tired, and had mild urinary incontinence--and finally went to a clinic to see what was up. The doctors ran a bunch of tests, and what they found was astonishing: A sonogram revealed that she had a five-inch sex toy inside her vagina!

When the doctors asked her about it, she recalled using it during an alcohol-fueled sex session with a partner a DECADE earlier but had totally forgotten about it. She said she couldn't remember if she removed the toy during that encounter. Well, safe to say the answer to that is now clear.

But here's the scariest part: That 10-year-old toy did some pretty major damage, obstructing her bladder and causing urine to back up into her kidneys. It also caused an injury called a vesicovaginal fistula, which created an opening between the vagina and bladder, so urine was able to leak into the vagina.

Doctors surgically removed the toy and repaired her injuries, and the whole situation is documented in graphic detail (and images!) in a report published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Of course, this scenario in particular is extremely rare, but consider it a reminder to practice safe sex--even when you're using toys.

For starters, you might not want to use anything that can get stuck up there while under the influence of alcohol. Another tip: Be mindful when buying sex toys to make sure they're the real deal . And finally, if you experience any pain or discomfort after using a device, be sure to bring it up with your doctor. We promise, they've seen and heard it all.

For unknown reasons, many people in the province of Chantanburi seem to be suffering from diarrhea at the same time.

A private hospital in the downtown area of Chanthaburi said that it was full due to the large number of diarrhea patients. There is no confirmation yet from an official agency.

The Chanthaburi Public Health Office at about 7:30 p.m. has posted a message to warn the people of Chanthaburi to avoid food poisoning. No information yet from Dr. Apirak Phisuthaporn, the Chanthaburi Provincial Public Health Doctor.
