pdogg
Friends recommend Villa Vedici if staying in Kampot http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/9-cambodia-accommodation/?p=

Ernesto
Kampot is a nice backlaid colonial city, but what to do there? Except from a 2 days trekking tour on Mount Bokor I cannot find any reason to stay there.Maybe you can stay over night to enjoy the quiet atmosphere among a few backpackers, sip your beer ad listen to traveller stories, but I dont think there will be any talks about ladyboys, not even on bargirls etc.
Ernesto
afew more from Kampot and Kep in the silent days ( January 2010) I am sure Kep looks different now and will become again a competition to Sihanoukville.
williethepimp
bugger all to do in both places.....never even saw a bar girl...no chance of any LB action, unless you bring your own.......the highlight of my visit was meeting a guy from Mcr who runs a bar/restaraunt on the riverfront called the rusty bullet keyhole....good ribs ....i enjoyed the vibe there though.... dimitri11
do not remember the name but it is the only club in Kampot, just cross the new bridge and it is on your left. There are some girls outside waiting to take them with you inside to "help" you with the drinks and they are more than willing to come with you, an average of 20$ is enough.
