I have contacted the job and this is my last year. I currentkt bank at B of A but after looking Citi Bank has USA branches and BKK. I have contacted schools and have set up so that for 13 weeks they will put me up in Pattaya. I can join the Rotary and help instead of sitting in the bar. Need Banking advice, Living advice along with income and taxes.

Kasikorn is the easiest bank in which to open a new account.

I'm not sure but I think the first 8 0,000 USD dollars you earn overseas is tax free.

However any IRA distributions would be taxable.

As a Texas resident there's no state tax.

You might want to look into 72(t) plans for iRA distributions.

Rent is cheap in Pattaya, no worries there.

Good luck T-Mac!
