It was confirmed by Police that Mr. Stefan Heiner Volkl aged 39 had jumped off a balcony on the 56th floor at the Pattaya Park Tower in Jomtien on Thursday Night.

Pattaya - the suicide capital of the world! What a joke! The police never investigate (properly) & the beneficiary of the will is always his Thai wife. Or if he isn't married, someone knows his bank account details or where his money is stashed.

Anyone who doesn't understand how ruthless these Thai girls are should be aware that there are two to three farangs jumping from high rise buildings every week on average. And it is usually the girl's family who orchestrate it, many times the girls like the guy but other members of her family aren't prepared to wait any longer to access the riches that come from his accidental death.

I know someone who has lived in Pattaya a long time who knows 3 guys who have leapt to their death & none of them were depressed or showed any sign they wanted to die. In a town like Pattaya, why would they? But they did have Thai wives who now own the biggest house back in the village. Not a bad return for an uneducated farm girl who turned tricks for 500 baht while waiting for a dumb foreigner. And they are dumb, they believe everything they get told.

It must be pretty scary, having 3 or 4 Thai men from the Thai wives family, force their way into your condo 50 floors up, knowing full well from the first moment you see them, that you will be going for a jump.
